It is noisy in the morning and I could hear the person in the room next to me coughing frequently. I had to wear ear plugs.
The hotel tried to make me pay more money than what was stated in the agreed-upon reservation through Expedia. The staff would not listen to me and would not look at the receipt I received from Expedia. Expedia explicitly stated the exact amount I was to pay to the hotel. The hotel still tried to get me to pay more money. It was very stressful. I had to call Expedia and then Expedia had to call the hotel and tell them to stop demanding more money Than what was agreed upon in the stated reservation. It would be unmanageable if hotels could charge more than agreed-upon reservation rates. How would you ever know what you’re gonna pay. I tried to explain to the hotel that they could ask for another US$100 when I show up. They wouldn’t listen. After Expedia called them they backed off and did not demand more money. Read moreIt's a 4 star, but we give them 5 star hotel review. Impeccable services in Tunis. The receptionists - Hadila & Aymen are so helpful. On our first day, my husband left his phone in airport taxi. Chances are close to zero to retrieve the new flip phone. Aymen spoke to cab driver and voila. We got it back in 30 minutes.
Hadila is so full of life. Always helpful, lively and full of recommendations. She has met many types of tourists and foreigners and quick to assess our needs and help out immediately.
If am in hospitality business, I'd like them both in my team. The service is very important and they'll make any guests happy.
The rest of the team, chef and concierge are wonderful too. I am sad to leave them.
Hotel is clean and good. Food is great. You'll get a feel of Tunisia cuisine without stepping out. It's a conference type hotel. But they deliver more than that.

My booking was confirmed so booked my flights… On Tuesday I received a message that my banc card was not valid (!?) they offered me 24h to arrange this otherwise they would cancel my reservation. I checked my banc card (it WAS valid and there is enough money on it) so i confirmed this card again. Only 15 (!?!) minutes later I received another mail: «your reservation is canceled due to an invalid banc card» ?!? Once again I checked with the banc and there is nothing wrong with my card. On the same e-mail they wrote that I could book again (but for €150 more!?!)… Immediately I have send the hotel an email to undo this reservation because canceling this in 15’ for no valid reason???
