On our way to the souks we stopped for a bite to eat. I bought a plain sugar pastry to try and it was delicious. The staff were friendly, and we communicated even though there was a language barrier (we are from the UK). The price is modest compared to the UK bakeries.
We loved the bakery so much we came back a second time on our way back, and even bought a small box of mini- bakes to take on the plane back. They have a fridge of drinks which is perfect for being refreshed on a hot day.
They have sweet and savoury options too.

Some of the pastries and cakes were sold as one like the croissants or slices of cake. However, the smaller biscuits and other items were sold in bulk.
