I stayed at Gordion Hotel this past June for one evening and one full day while traveling through Turkey. Upon arrival at around 10 pm, the hotel staff greeted me, helped me with my luggage, and delivered my room key. After a long trip from the US, I appreciated the warm welcome and attentiveness. The hotel itself is lovely - I am a bit of an architecture/design nerd and was impressed by the elegance of the building and tasteful interior design reflecting Anatolian history; I noticed this sentiment echoed by other reviewers as well. ||||I stayed in one of the suites - the bed was very comfortable and I was able to sleep right away, no noise coming from other rooms (so important to me!), and ample towels/toiletries in the bathroom. I also have to note that I loved the ancient Anatolian decor in the room. In the morning, I woke up pleasantly early from the time difference and was able to catch the sunrise across the city's skyline. An authentic Turkish buffet in the hotel's restaurant was incredible! I'm going to be adding a photo to this post. Having lived in the US for many years, I've become quite picky when it comes to Turkish food and this spread was perfect after 3 years away: cheese and bread pastries, menemen (egg/tomato dish), variety of cheeses and salami, eggs, jams, vegetables, and drinks.||||I had a flight later in the evening - the hotel's managing staff actually helped coordinate the logistics (plane ticket, transportation, etc.) and met me as I was leaving breakfast to hand me my tickets & ask about my experience. I can't stress enough how wonderful the customer service and attention to detail was at this hotel. Stayed in my room for most of the day doing work - it was comfortable, I had the AC running on a hot day and had consistent/fast wifi. Took a break and went down to the sauna for about an hour before leaving - there is a jaw dropping pool down there that I unfortunately did not have the time to swim in. ||||Overall, my stay at Gordion was a perfect start to my trip. The employees were warm, considerate, and helped me with everything I needed. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here if you are...

For visa purposes I had to stay very long in Ankara and among all other hotels I’ve stayed at - this is the very best! Overall I lived here for about 2 weeks. Being recently renovated, outside view is great and really stands out. Interior design is amazing and very consistent. Reception service is outstanding and very friendly. Anything they can help with or fix, they are available, 24/7. Traveling solo, I felt safe. Location is superb, quiet street but very close to everything needed. Room was spacious, bed was very comfortable, selection of pillows is diverse. Breakfast is a bit repetitive, but I did live very long. Overall breakfast was good and nourishing. View from breakfast lounge is great! ☺️ Pub on ground floor is very cool, good food and nice beer selection. Separate and additional notes about spa and pool. I’ve chosen this hotel specifically for it, and I was not disappointed. Good massage, spacious pool, sauna, hammam, relaxation area, gym. Operating hours in November were 10am-10pm. Above all I was very much impressed by courtesy and professionalism of Spa manager Erkan. Thank you very much! Very tactful, attentive and professional. If I come back to Ankara, I will only stay...

I booked this hotel for my wedding guests, and it was an amazing experience! The location is perfect if you're looking for that authentic Ankara feel – central, vibrant, and well-connected. Parking was convenient, and the hotel is easily accessible by taxi. It's also quite affordable when coming from the airport, which made it super easy for my guests to arrive without any hassle. The spa was impressively clean, and the massages were top-notch – everyone appreciated the extra relaxation. The pool felt private and perfect right before my wedding night to jump in warm water and refresh. I I was so relaxed at my wedding day thanks to the whole spa experience. The breakfast was rich, especially for a boutique hotel, with plenty of options. Communication with the manager was seamless, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. They accommodated our needs, whether it was early morning meetings or late-night gatherings. The hotel’s cozy hangout spaces were perfect, and the rooms were well-isolated, ensuring quiet and restful stays. Alsa cute decoration. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to host such an important event. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience!! I came from NYC to Ankara for an operation. My mom and I stayed in room 206 for 2 weeks. Honestly, this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. For the affordable price, the quality of the service and rooms was on par with 5 star hotels. The service was incredibly professional and friendly. Everyone from the front desk to the breakfast area was so warm and helpful. Always brought a smile to my face! The wifi worked very well and the shower was spacious and always had hot water. The rooms were beautifully decorated and super cozy with all the essentials: comfy beds, mini fridge, slippers and closet. The breakfast was included in the price - nothing fancy, but fresh and tasty. The hotel also had a cool pub on the first level with live music on some evenings. The location was near all of the nice restaurants and bars - very walkable. If I come back to Ankara, I would be happy to stay here again!
