Ramada by Wyndham Ankara — Hotel in Çankaya

Stayed at the Ramada Hotel in Ankara, and while the location was convenient and the staff were polite and accommodating, the room quality was disappointing.

The room was extremely basic, lacking the amenities and level of comfort expected from a hotel of this brand. Furniture and decor seemed outdated, and the room didn’t have the warm, welcoming feel you’d anticipate from a Ramada.

It felt more like a budget stay rather than a reputable hotel chain. We expected a more refined experience, and unfortunately, it didn’t meet those expectations.

The rooms are quite small and feel cramped, making it uncomfortable to stay for long periods. The towels have a strong chlorine smell, which is unpleasant. Additionally, there is no parking available, which can be inconvenient for guests traveling by car. Even the information cards provided in the rooms are outdated, with some dating back to 2018. We were part of a group tour. Check in was fairly easy. The room was small, with an ok view. The bathroom was small with a shower that would only give hot water, almost scalding.
