The location of Hotel Marble is excellent — literally a 3–4 minute walk from the main Taksim street, which makes it super convenient for exploring Istanbul. The staff were very helpful and nice, and the room service was great. Complimentary water was provided on time, and upon check-in, we were welcomed with a plate of fruits sent to our room along with a card from the manager saying we could reach out directly if we had any concerns. For the price, this hotel is truly a gem and offers great value for money.
The views from my room were out of this world — absolutely beautiful. The only thing I would say the hotel lacked was the breakfast. It really wasn’t very good, so I’d suggest skipping it and trying one of the many cafés or restaurants nearby instead.
As for the amenities, they were okay. The pool downstairs didn’t have changing rooms, but the person at the spa was extremely kind and let us use his changing rooms. I personally didn’t swim as the water felt too cold, but overall the facilities were decent for the price point.
When we were leaving, we booked a taxi to the airport through the hotel. While waiting, we kept our luggage at reception and were given a small card to hand over when collecting our bags. When the taxi arrived, the staff helped put our bags inside, but one small cloth bag with clothes was accidentally left behind. It was a mutual mistake as the staff forgot to put it in, and we also didn’t notice at the time. Thankfully, I realized right when we entered the airport, so I immediately called the hotel. To their credit, they urgently sent the bag through a taxi, which cost 1300 Lira. Since it was partly my mistake as well, I can’t complain, and I really appreciated how quickly they handled it.
All in all, this hotel is a gem for its price point. With its unbeatable location, welcoming staff, great views, and good service, I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul. I have attached pictures of the view from my room and a picture of the end...
Read moreOur stay from 21 to 25 December 2024 at Marble Hotel was nothing short of a disaster, largely due to the unprofessional and rude behavior of the staff, particularly Hilar. From the start, we noticed the employees lacked basic courtesy—there wasn’t even a simple “hello” or acknowledgment when we checked in or interacted with them during our stay.
One of the most infuriating issues was their dishonesty about late checkout. We specifically asked for a late checkout, and they assured us that leaving at 1:00 PM was fine. However, at exactly 11:48 AM, we received a call from the front desk, rudely demanding that we check out by 12:00 PM or be charged for a full extra day. When we explained the prior agreement, they dismissed it and forced us to rush out, with my hair wet and a 2 degree Celsius outside. I fell sick and still trying to recover!
Adding insult to injury, the manager blatantly lied about the situation. When we called earlier at 9:05 AM to confirm, the manager himself answered and confirmed the late checkout. Yet, when confronted later, he claimed no such call was ever made. This level of dishonesty and lack of accountability is absolutely unacceptable.
The room itself was far from comfortable. The walls were so thin we could hear every noise from the hallway and adjoining rooms. It felt like there was zero soundproofing, making it impossible to relax or sleep.
The amenities were laughable. There were no tissues in the room, and when we requested some, they brought us a roll of toilet paper instead. The tea selection was equally disappointing—only black tea was available in the room and even at the breakfast buffet. Speaking of the buffet, it was extremely limited with barely any variety. For the price we paid, we expected much better.
Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor amenities, and outright lies from the staff and management made this one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Save yourself the stress and frustration—do not book a stay at...
Read moreStaying at Marble Hotel was truly an unforgettable experience — one of the very best I’ve ever had. If I could give it 10 stars, I absolutely would!
From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism that instantly made me feel at home. The location is perfect — central, vibrant, and offering breathtaking views that make every moment feel like a dream.
We booked a Bosphorus-view room, and it was incredible. The view was stunning and made the stay extra special. While the room itself was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, it wasn’t as spacious as it appeared in the pictures. Also, the rooms are not fully soundproof, so some noise from the corridor and neighboring rooms carried through.
Pros:
Beautiful Bosphorus view (for select rooms).
Perfect location — very convenient for tourists, with Taksim, Istiklal Street, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby.
Friendly and helpful staff, always ready to guide you around the city.
Nice lobby area for relaxing.
Clean and well-kept rooms.
Cons:
Room sizes smaller than expected.
Soundproofing could be improved.
A special and heartfelt thank you to Miss Hilal, Ümit, Sıla, Çağatay, Çengin, Omar, Hülya, and the breakfast catering team. They are among the kindest, most attentive, and genuinely caring individuals I’ve ever encountered in hospitality. Every morning felt special thanks to their thoughtful service, warm smiles, and attention to detail.
The entire team — from the front desk to housekeeping — showed the same dedication and care. You can truly feel that they love what they do, and that makes all the difference.
Whether you’re planning a short city break or a longer relaxing stay, Marble Hotel is a gem. The service, atmosphere, and location all come together to create an experience that’s simply unforgettable.
Thank you to everyone at Marble Hotel for making my stay so magical. I can’t wait to return...
