Thanks so much for providing so much detailed information about the history of each site and monument, Cenker 🤙🏼 I had a great time and learnt a lot. Thankful for your patience with the group. Sorry for drifting off at the cistern 🥺. I was glad I got to go through it twice for the 2nd time with the group , I noticed more details I didn't the 1st time.
Just FYI that I couldn't hear very well inside the Blue Mosque. Partly because I was standing behind others, mostly because Cenker's voice dispersed in such a grand space. Perhaps moving the group to a corner somewhere may help with hearing the curation a bit better.
@Cenker: I'll make sure to catch up on the Brothers.
& For those who may be reading the reviews, As a solo traveler, i don't usually do tours but this guided tour is a great deal as it offers a great guide - Cenker - who shares a lot of historic information so you'll learn a bit more than you may already know or far more than you never knew before, AND it allowed me to meet other people, other travelers. I connected easily with a fellow solo female traveler who sat right beside me when we arrived at the meeting point. We not only related with each other on our love for solo traveling, but also when I talked about my strong desire to visit Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan she was very excited as she was Afghani herself and she just came from traveling around Iran. As someone who rarely ever would go for the option of a tour, I actually really recommend this one, especially if you go for the one where it covers up to 3 sites. It's worth it.

Read moreIT’S AN ABSOLUTE SCAM. AVOID AT ALL COST!!! IT DIDNT SAVE YOU 32% AS IT CLAIMS. BUT CHARGES YOU 40EURO MORE.
It appears to be an official website claiming it can save you money than buying the official tickets at the entrance. What they actually do is to mark up the individual ticket showing on its megapass website to make you feel like its helping you to save money and time. But if you check detailedly and look into the “REAL OFFICIAL” website. It’s way cheaper like 8-10 EURO less each. So always buy the official tickets at the entrance to avoid tourist scam.
Whats so called “Skip the Line” is just helping you to save the time waiting at the queue to buy tickets. It has nothing to do to save you time passing through the security line when with loads of tourists at peak hour. We still have wait as the “normal visitors” The security check line is always the one that takes your time the most rather than the one for buying ticket. Dont believe “skip the line ticket” from anyone website. There is NO SUCH THING IN THE WORLD.
The transport card is even easier. You can get it anywhere at train/bus station or airport. I do find it stupid because i have to buy another Istanbul Pass (130TL for an empty card + 50-80 TL for the ride) first at the airport to get myself to the city centre before getting the second pass from Megapass located at the city centre lolllll
It does help you save a bit of time for OVER 42 EURO. Does it worth the price? I...
Read more3* for respect to the tour guides, which are exempt from the disorganised, unprofessional, and rude management team and coordinators. We have been advised to reunite in Dsign Cafe following the touroperator instructions. 10 minutes after the scheduled time, I contacted them via WhatsApp since I could not see the team around, and I have been told that the team was onsite. I crossed the road, and in the middle of the park, there where a thousand people reunited to meet their touroperators, there was Megapass with a ripped off, poorly visible, and small flag. I wonder how we could not miss them from the very bigggining. By tge way, I was not inside the cafe, I was outside in the terrace, facing the park. I approached the touroperator, and my guide was still there. He let him go and he told me that I was late for the tour. I explained that I was in the location where I was instructed to be, and in response, in a rude, despicable, and arrogant manner, the touroperator told me that if I wanted to take a new tour, I had to wait two hours. I was not the only one, and I can tell that this is a common situation every single day. They just don't want to learn from their lesson. Get yourself a big, visible flag so everyone can see you miles away. I have to modify my daily schedule. I have to jump into two different groups, and of course, I was still late for my next activity. I'll never again use...
