I recently stayed at this hotel during my visit to Istanbul and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The staff here is exceptional, being extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything you might need. They truly made my stay memorable.
The location of the hotel is fantastic, offering convenient access to some of the city's major attractions. Sultanahmet, Hagia Sophia, and Beyazit Mosque are all within easy walking distance. Additionally, the tram station is just a short 4-minute walk away, making it easy to explore the rest of the city. The beach and numerous excellent restaurants are only about 10 minutes away on foot.
The pricing is quite reasonable and offers great value for the quality of the accommodations and service provided. It's definitely a good deal when considering the quality-to-price ratio.
The only minor downside is that the hotel doors open up to a small local industry area, which can be a bit noisy in the morning. However, this wasn't a major issue for me, especially since it provided an interesting glimpse into the daily lives of many Turkish people.
Overall, the area is very safe, so you don't need to worry about your security while staying here. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for...

Read moreWe booked this hotel because of the glowing reviews and the convenient location, but it was a complete and utter disaster. The walk to the Grand Bazaar is a treacherous climb up a steep and filthy street, lined with nothing but wholesale shoe and textile shops. In the morning, the outside becomes quite noisy when these businesses open their doors.
About the hotel: The staff are friendly, but that's where the positives end. The rooms are cramped with beds that are barely passable.
And now for the worst part:
The bathroom is so minuscule that the toilet had to be squeezed into the shower, leaving barely enough room to move around. The sink is laughably small, barely big enough to brush your teeth in. I've stayed in my fair share of budget hotels, but I've never seen anything as squalid as this.
We were so disgusted by this place that we checked out early, even though we had already paid for our stay. Checking out was a hassle. During the day, the street to the hotel is blocked off, so taxis have to wait a few hundred meters down the road. This meant that the staff had to carry our luggage down the steep hill to the taxi, which was not ideal.
It's beyond me how this hotel has such positive reviews. IIt was complete and utter...
