Aya Kiryaki Church — Local services in Fatih

We visited the Church in January, the gates were open, both the one from the hill, and the one from downstairs. Entered the court, and the guardsman opened the door.

We were able to enter the church for the first 3-4 meters, the rest was closed. Inside, No photoshooting was allowed. He stood right near us. But the mosaic and the icons were beautiful even though unrestored.

Worths visiting especially to feel the contrast between the rest of modern Sultanahmet and Byzantine past.
