We have just come back from 2 weeks at this lovely hotel. It was our fourth visit and this time we stayed in a pool suite which was at the back of the hotel. The room had an additional seating area alongside the bedroom and 2 bathrooms so gave us that bit more space. The bed was very comfortable, air conditioning very good, and everywhere is very clean. The negatives were that despite all the space, and we had 2 lots of wardrobe space, there was nowhere for me to hang my long maxi dresses so the bottoms got a bit creased hanging down from the shorter hangers. There was also no long mirrors either to check your outfit before going to dinner! There was no hooks on the backs of the doors to hang a towelling dressing gown (which I had to ask for as it was not automatically supplied, but that's no problem). There was also no hanging space for damp towels after a shower so we had to hang them over the doors to the shower and the toilet. Regarding the toilet, we were lucky to have two, one was actually in a proper bathroom with a door that you could close for privacy, the other had a glass door and a massive gap at the top of the door - so absolutely no privacy! ||Because our room was at the back of the hotel, ground level, we did get a lot of noise if there was a wedding- we only had 2 during our stay, but the noise was relentless because the guests come into the hotel to use the toilets, which our room was near to, and people would be singing and shouting with no thought to the guests in the hotel. Unfortunately it is something you just have to accept. The childrens parties which are held sometimes in the afternoon in the breakfast room are also a bit annoying when you are trying to relax around the quiet adult pool (breakfast room right next to the pool) and the children are running around screaming. There never seemed to be anyone around to control them, but again this just happened once. ||Apart from that, the hotel is still a haven, generally very peaceful and relaxing. We spent every day around the adult pool which was lovely and clean.| |We went half board, mainly because I am gluten free and it makes it so much easier, plus the restaurant is right on the waters edge so is very beautiful and relaxing for eating. I contacted the hotel 2 weeks before our holiday to let them know about my intolerance and I have to say they were amazing, they had let both the restaurant and the bar know so it popped up every time I ordered food. With breakfast I was given gluten free pancakes and little cakes/bread bites which were delicious.||Breakfast was good, though there is not such a huge choice, but there was the usual prepared fruit and yogurts, juice, breads, cakes, cheeses and hams and obviously cooked breakfasts with any sort of eggs that you have to pre-order so they are nice and fresh, so it was fine for us. The evening meals were absolutely lovely and a good choice from the menu.| |We tried the spa, the massages are amazing and well worth the money. I would definitely recommend trying them.| |Though I think what makes this hotel is the staff. With special thanks to Ella, Nihad and Sinan. All the staff in the restaurants and bars in the morning, at lunchtime and evening are very helpful and friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. The amount of serving staff has increased since our last visit, which is a good thing as I didn’t think there was enough before, and also most of them had a good understanding of English and what gluten free meant. The restaurant is certainly very busy every evening with both guests and people from outside the hotel.||The hotel is very ideally placed as well, with just a 10 minute walk into Fethiye where you can find lots of shops and also the market on Tuesdays is brilliant if you are looking for a bargain. Some really good quality copies.||One difference is that there used to be several gullets which would moor up on Saturdays for changeovers, which used to be very disruptive and noisy, but that seems to have stopped, or at least there weren't any during our visit, which is good.👍 ||All in all, we...
Read moreThis place delivered a dream we didn’t even know we needed—pure magic wrapped in turquoise waters and endless sunsets. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a hidden paradise. The views are absolutely breathtaking.Every glance out our window was a postcard moment—crystal-clear Mediterranean waves lapping at the shore, dramatic, green mountains in the distance, and those golden sunrises that make you forget the world exists. It was the perfect backdrop to this much needed vacation. |What really stole our hearts was the bohemian decor—think breezy whites and earthy tones mixed with artisanal touches that scream relaxed luxury. It wasn’t stuffy or over-the-top; it felt like a chic beachside boho retreat designed for soulful souls like us. And the ultra-luxurious water villas? Oh my goodness, they were next-level. Ours was a floating haven right over the sea, with private decks that dipped straight into the water, plush king beds draped in the softest linens, and those floor-to-ceiling glass walls blurring the line between inside and out. We spent lazy afternoons lounging in our infinity plunge pool, feeling like royalty without a care in the world. Every detail was well thought and polished to perfection. The grounds are full of beautiful, well-maintained foliage. It’s like wandering through a lush tropical dream. Manicured gardens bursting with vibrant bougainvillea, palm-fringed paths, and hidden nooks perfect for stealing kisses—it added such a serene, alive energy to the whole place.||Of course, none of this would shine without the people, and the staff here? Incredibly professional, warm, and genuinely invested in making your stay unforgettable. A huge shoutout to Yaren, the Guest Relations Manager, whose personal hospitality touched us deeply. She went above and beyond— consistently checking in with thoughtful gestures, making sure we also knew she was at our disposal. She even shared local tips that made us feel like old friends rather than guests. Her energy is infectious; she made our trip feel tailored and special in ways we can’t thank her enough for.|And we can’t rave enough about Baris and his stellar team at the pool bar and restaurant. From dawn yoga sessions to those epic poolside lunches, their service was flawless—attentive without hovering. Baris himself has this effortless charm; he’d chat with us about Chicago winters while whipping up the most refreshing cocktails, turning every meal into a highlight. They made us feel so welcome and cared for. Additionally, for a smaller hotel, the food is top notch. After spending 4 days in Istanbul, the familiar and comforting fare at Mori restaurant was just what we needed.|If you’re a couple seeking romance, adventure, or just pure bliss, book this now. Read moreWe last stayed at this hotel 9 years ago, and I can honestly say that it was one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at, and on top of that it was pretty good value for money. Fast forward 9 years later the family desperately wanted to return so we booked the yacht classic hotel La Mason house that is suitable for families. On entry the house is stunning, huge space, top of the line everything, 3 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, beautiful views. Unfortunately we ran into some issues. Firstly the road to cross to the hotel is not the nicest, it’s about 50mts up the road so you feel slightly detached from the hotel. The staff didn’t seem to know or understand the house as they gave us incorrect information on check in. There is no phone in the house to call for assistance. (They told us to dial 0), we weren’t given the what’s app and they don’t respond to what’s app anyway. The plug for the bath was broken and the hot water broke and we couldn’t have showers the first night. I had to cross the road at night to seek assistance to which I was told someone would fix it the next day. Now when you are paying the price we were, that’s honestly isn’t good enough (the last hotel we stayed in Bodrum, a bed broke and we had someone there in 10mins, at 10pm at night fixing, cleaning and doing everything to repair the problem, and the hotel was half the price of this one). The next day I demanded to speak to the manager. And after some ‘discussion’ they fixed the problems and sent some wine and fruit. Which is something but again, no showers in a place that is 400 euros a night?? They then turned on all the heaters? Not sure if this was related to the water heater but we were then dealing with a house that was half heating half air conditioning the place, and the water still wasn’t great, it didn’t go cold but it would run out quickly. Hotel itself was still stunning, pool area is breathtaking, breakfast was sooooo good. Sunbeds beautiful. Beds in the house and bedding was amazing. Cocktails are criminally expensive but also so so good. Staff would provide plenty of water and let us stay after checkout around the pool for our late flight. It’s still a stunning hotel, I still love this hotel, the service could do with some improvements, it’s not the value for money it once was (as is most of Turkey), but it is still beautiful and provides excellent quality in regards to the pool, breakfast...
