Rose Valley inn Hotel Göreme — Hotel in Göreme

To start on a positive note: the hotel is brand new so it looks very nice. The rooms are beautifully designed. The view on landscape and hot air balloons on the rooftop terrace are a plus. The owner and staff are friendly and helped us book different tours and shuttles to the airport and back.

This hotel is good if you sleep really deep - if this is not the case, would not recommend coming here. You will not survive without a good pair of earplugs.

Why?

Mosque nearby starts singing at 4:30 am in the morning, which waked us three up every night. We were used to this as we are travelling through Turkey, but this one was close and loud.

In front of our hotel room they are working every morning starting before 8 am. Surrounding the hotel everything is still under construction which causes a lot of noise of men working with heavy trucks. We told the hotel owner but he can't do anything.

Hot air balloons land everywhere around the hotel which causes even more noise: From 5 up to 10 am in the morning. Even more heavy truck noises as they need to pack up the balloons again.

There was not one night we had a descent night sleep.

The bath was also leaking and the sink was loose, the Wifi was gone at a certain point,.. here you defenitely see they didn't yet finish everything before opening the hotel.

There is also no air-conditioning as described when booking.

I would defenitely recommend when the hotel and surroundings...
