Hattusa Handmade Ceramics — Attraction in Göreme

On our first day, we stumbled upon this wonderful ceramics shop and were captivated by an artist painting tiny figurines. The level of detail was incredible, and we immediately noticed that the craftsmanship on these delicate pieces was superior to similar designs we’d seen elsewhere. We were so impressed that we returned the very next day and decided to buy two bowls! The shopkeeper was incredibly helpful. Knowing we were looking for a specific style, he went above and beyond: he lined up several bowls with similar motifs right on the table so we could compare them side-by-side and make our final choice easily. Wonderful place to visit while in Goreme. If you are looking to get a present for loved ones that is not mass production item from a tourist shop, or looking to buy something for yourself it is a good place to stop by. The owner was patient with us- assisted when we asked, but didn't push us into buying. Gave us time to choose what we like, adapted it so it can be hung on the wall and packed well to withstand transportation in a suitcase. My mom and I came to visit this shop, the artist is there in the shop, he is very kind and talented. This shop is a family owned business and his nephew is very kind, patient and helpful. We bought many little bowls and then a few days later we came back and bought a couple larger pieces. Everything here is so beautiful.
