This establishment was recommended to us by our hotel. It's within the city centre, a short 5 minute walk from everything. Upon arrival we were greeted by 2 gentlemen outside that were very inviting.
We were seated and our server for the evening was Azim. I've worked in the the 5 star hospitality realm and I was impressed with Azim's service. Azim had wonderful recommendations for us, he was very patient with us and his English was excellent. I didn't need to rephrase my questions for him to understand. Later in the evening I over hear Azim conversing in Hindi to the guests seated behind me and then Azim starts speaking in Mandarin to a large group that came in later. If I'm not mistaken I over heard Azim state that he speaks 7 different languages. Azim later offered to speak to me in Arabic and Urdu.
We ordered the Chicken pottery kebab, meatball kebab, a chicken and cheese dish, and the roasted garlic. Once the food arrived, I couldn't stop myself from contineuosly consuming the the fresh bread. It was the softest most amazing bread I've ever had. I could have sat there all night and be satisfied with just the bread and the sauces that accompanied.
The presentation and taste from the pottery kebab was phenomenal, the main layered flavors all complimented each other and our hotel stated the pottery kebab is Cappadocia's most famous dish.
The meatball kebab was excellent with the pairing of the sumac onions. I could taste the char from the grill which the onions really brought out. Combine this with the yogurt and bread that was offered 👌.
Let's move on to the chicken and cheese. I've yet to experience such a thing in my life. We almost opted from getting this and thank God we didn't. The aroma from the chicken and cheese will leave you in awe. The cheese was so stringy and melted on to the chicken in such a way that I haven't seen a better cheese pull on any pasta that I've personally tried. The flavor from this dish left me wanting more and more. I first tried the dish with the bread that I enjoyed so much however once I switched to the rice that was paired with this dish 🤯 the cheese, the juices from the chicken all soaked into the rice and then consumed was otherworldly.
Hands down i would recommended this restaurant and if I'm ever I'm Goreme again I would come here.
The food was excellent however the service is what will make the customers keep coming back...

We spent a total of 1900 lira and it was worth every penny for the quality of food and service we received. This was, without a doubt, the best restaurant we tried during our trip to Cappadocia. The food was so good that we’re certain we’ll miss it once we’re back in Singapore.
