Park Inn by Radisson Izmir — Hotel in Konak

it was expected that it would be the best hotel for 10 days trip, but it was not, even the cheapest for 20 euro was better. The problem was in my expectation and reality. Price/service correlation is poor. Yes. the building itself is new, the room is modern, but let's back to the service.. it's radisson.. it's was the only one hotel in a whole turkey who did not help us to park a car and even more, when we did it, only after we were told that we can't park here in front of door (they actually saw us, but did nothing). Ok. They did not help up with luggage, which was not heavy, but still. Ok.. The room: seems the designer in the hotel did not though about making the stay comfortable. The fridge lights all the time.. the front door is made from glass and the light never turned off.. what is the sense to have very expensive blackout curtains in the room if you can't turn off the light inside the room? Sure.. it's very nice on the photos. The workaround was to turn off the fridge from electricity chain. Anyway as a fridge it don't work as expected ( I mean you can't get cold water from it and store products). it's noisy around the hotel. The buildings near (even not buildings, the leftovers from them) were under contractions and very noisy work was started early morning even on weekend. where is the tea and coffee??? in the hotel description written that is should be in each room, but nothing.. even no kettle, no cups, no glasses.. It must be in such hotel! it was even no glass for toothbrush. Could be I expect too much.. because it was even no toilet paper in the room (only the small leftover and I had to call on the reception). ah.. yes.. and luggage room.. you don't have.. why you lie that you have it if luggage of your guests you simply leave in the lobby without any control. What?? I did an experiment, after few hours were back and I was going directly to my bag, in the reception it was no reaction and they ask me nothing, how they know that it's my bag, not the one in another corner, how they know at all that I was stayed here.. wiered security.. I'm done and I'm really that sad you having a new and nice building, having clean rooms was rated by me so low.. because you awful for a service...

I just got here today and the staff member was not friendly at all. He gave us a smoking room that smells like cigarettes and when I told him, he said they cleaned it and offered no other solution. I paid extra to have sea view and instead got a smoking room!!!!! Also, I had a friend of mine who left his bag in our room so we can go have dinner and then come back to pick it up. When we got back, he wanted to come upstairs to pick his bag up from the room and then leave. The same staff member stood there and told him not to go upstairs as he is not allowed to come upstairs to pick his bag up in a very mean and rude manner. I have never been to a hotel where a guest can’t come to the room for few minutes. And even if that is the case, he could have been polite about it! Instead he was very rude about it. Since I got here, not a single smile on his face. I’m not sure who is the customer in this situation. Unfortunately, this experience in just few hours has been extremely disappointing. And even when I told him how I felt by the way he treated us, he offered no apology and not a single word! It’s a shame! Not to mention that I asked him if we can have late checkout and he said the hotel is full, and I just checked to see if I can book for another night and there is availability. So he was not being honest. He could have simply said no without having to lie. What a shame! I don’t recommend this...

We recently spent a week at this hotel and I can honestly say that this stay was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff was attentive, welcoming, and ready to help with every need.

The room itself was a haven of comfort, with beds that were incredibly plush and inviting, ensuring a restful sleep after long days sightseeing and shopping. The thorough and regular cleaning maintained a spotless environment, adding to the overall feeling of tranquility.

Breakfast was another highlight of our stay. The generous spread catered to all tastes, with an array of options that ensured we started our days on a satisfying note. The fact that we could choose whatever we wanted made each morning feel special.

However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the accommodating staff. Their genuine care and concern made a stressful time significantly easier to handle. Every request was met with a smile and prompt action, whether it was arranging transportation or providing extra amenities.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, not just for its fantastic facilities but for the warm and compassionate service that truly makes it stand out.
