Urgup Evi Cave Hotel — Hotel in Urgup

1 - First of all, the ambience is amazing. The hotel has a good view from the terrace and you can take amazing photos.|2 - Not all rooms are the same. My friend got an authentic cave with a tub inside while we received a room that is ordinary looking ( although it has some cave like features) and no tub. |3 - We didnt see any other customers when we stayed here. There was just 2 of our family! which means probably we went during an off season or the hotel is not a preferred destination to stay. |4 - You need to walk atleast 1 km to the nearby restaurant|5 - Breakfast is just fine. The food is tasty but less variety. You get pancakes, omelets, toast, other small turkish items. |6 - The host is very helpful. He is also the owner of the hotel. There are other helpers but only see them in the morning to help us with breakfast.|7 - Dont expect any room service. Suggest go and get your water bottle before itself and any other snacks you want. |8 - Rooms are spacious. However, I found dust on my blanket when i reached there. Also there are no fans in the room as the temperature is pretty normal but to be honest, it can get little stuffy/hot inside.|9 - The biggest letdown i had with this hotel is that you cannot see any hot air balloons from the terrace. It depends on the season actually. This was not specified anywhere, so be sure to ask them before you book...

Lovely family-run hotel I totally recommend staying at! The rooms are unique, comfortable and cosy, the bathroom modern and wonderfully matching the cave style. One out of three nights was too hot to sleep (because no air-conditioning) but that might have been our fault for leaving the door open during the day. From the cave style ceiling small stones and sand fall down from time to time, so if you don't like stepping on dirt in your bedroom or bathroom you better choose a classic hotel. The whole property is gorgeous with luscious gardens, flowers and areas to chill out and enjoy Kapadokya's unique landscape.

The hotel is located on a hill and therefore very quiet and offers gorgeous views. We came by car but I think without is possible. Within 15 minutes you can walk to the centre of Ürgüp where you can find shops, restaurants, banks and so on. The countryside walk was gorgeous and relaxing. Also, most agencies offer to pick you up from the hotel for balloon or ATV tours etc.

Urgup Evi Unforgettable Experience in Cappadocia! I stayed at Urgup evi cave hotel in Cappadocia, and it was truly an incredible experience. The room was spacious, with a luxurious jacuzzi, hamam, and sauna. The large TV and the ambient lighting created a perfect atmosphere, with a timeless, antique feel. The restaurant was amazing with delicious food, and just like the rooms, it was built inside the rocks. The breakfast was fantastic, and the view from the restaurant was breathtaking. it felt like dining on top of the world. The hotel is located on a mountain top with a panoramic terrace that offers stunning views of the balloons floating in the sky during sunrise and sunset. The cleanliness of the entire place was top-notch, and the staff was incredibly kind, polite, and attentive. They made me feel so welcome and ensured my stay was perfect. They also helped me with booking ATV tours and hot air balloon rides at very reasonable prices. Everything about this hotel was perfect, and I had an unforgettable time.
