This was our 6th stay in this Hotel, the Twin Bed Room charge is 168 USD which is very expensive for a Hotel in Kampala. Why I come here is, because of the short distance to Arcacia Shopping Mall, which is just across the street. The room is nice, beds are nice but to soft. The Mini Bar is not filled and not cooling properly. The bathroom as long you not take a shower is okay, but they made a lot of design mistakes, if you use the shower, half of the bathroom gets flooded, this happened all the 6th times, doesn't matter if I was showering or my wife. If you sit on the toilet the toilet paper holder is mounted on the wrong site, you hit him every time with your knee. The worst thing is the breakfast buffet, for a 4 Star Hotel I am expecting much more choice, but the Orange Juice is the most worst one I ever got served in a Hotel. It is purely water with taste. The passion fruit juice is okay but low level. The coffee is not brought to the table and they don't offer a karaffe. The life cooking is very good, you get the food you order. The sweets are very good too and you have a wide choice. The cold cuts are not nice nearly no choice. I miss different salami or pastrami they even don't offer salmon, it's a 4 Star Hotel. The bottle of 0.7 lt. San Pelligrino cost you 30.000 UGX. The fruit choice is okay. The waiters are friendly, but storming onto your direction as soon one plate or Glas is empty, to take it away. The A/C at the buffet area is to hot for me. I like it more fresh. They have a Pool Area which we never used. The look from the windows is not nice you can see the surrounding streets only. This time I got a nice room with a good walk in shower and rain shower, much better then the previous times. The TV was not receiving proper signals, this was fixed quickly after calling the reception. My meaning about the buffet remains, it is nothing special. My next stay I booked in a different Hotel Mistral because of the real nice...

I recently had the opportunity to attend a conference and training meeting at Hilton Garden Hotel Kampala, and I must say, the experience was quite mixed.

On the positive side, the hotel's location is convenient, situated in the heart of Kampala with easy access to business districts and amenities. The staff were generally friendly and welcoming, which created a pleasant atmosphere throughout my stay. The conference facilities were well-equipped with modern technology, making presentations and discussions smooth and efficient. The hotel's cleanliness and maintenance were also commendable, reflecting a high standard of hygiene and comfort.

However, there were areas that left room for improvement. One notable aspect was the catering service during the conference sessions. While the food quality was decent, there were instances of delays in serving meals, leading to disruptions in the schedule. Additionally, the Wi-Fi connectivity in some parts of the hotel, especially the conference rooms, was inconsistent, causing inconvenience during online sessions and communication.

In terms of accommodation, the rooms were comfortable and adequately furnished, providing a good environment for rest and work. However, there were occasional issues with room service response times and minor maintenance issues that needed attention.

Overall, my experience at Hilton Garden Hotel Kampala was satisfactory, with highlights in location, conference facilities, and general hospitality. Addressing areas such as catering efficiency, Wi-Fi reliability, and room maintenance would enhance the overall guest experience and make it a more seamless and...

The hotel is very good as a facility It's new and the furniture is new also However the administration is not on the same level I should have been paying with my card and there was an issue to withdraw the amount so the reception insisted to pay in cash in advance I gave them the money cash then to try to withdraw again tomorrow, however they refused to try gain and give the cash back Another main issue that I checked in at 3am reserving 2 half board nights however I forgot that checking in at 3 am the half board of the first night would have passed and the receptionist didn't advise me that is wouldn't be beneficial Third and last at the restaurant when you order ahead make sure it will be something between 35 to 50 minutes for the food to come

Overall its value for price of the facility is good The Internet and food quality and quality are very very good Stuff needs to be more flexible

I would love to give them the 5 stars because the facility deserves it

At the time of pandemic They have separators They check the temperature They have a mask rule

For Muslim travellers Make sure that the food is Halal and no pork in it Note that Wine is available at the hotel No prayer room but ofcourse you can pray in your room or any...

Lovely hotel to stay esp. for business travel ..located opposite British Council in an upcoming area of Kampala. Close to health agencies, WHO, UNFPA, Ministry of Health, Cafe Javas, Test and Fly, Mulago Hospital, Acacia Mall. Very convenient location away from the hustle and bustle of Kampala. Clean hotel, rooms well set, clean spacious bathroom and toilet. Rooms air- conditioned, no balcony- large windows for lighting. COVID measures in play ..a promise of Clean stay...rooms cleaned and sanitized. In room dining possible...room has TV, safe, kettle and tea, coffee and 1 litre water daily. No unauthorized entry to empty cleaned rooms, they have a tag on door and gets torn if room breached. Has two restaurants, small parking...larger one accessed via car lift. Good cuisine. Swimming pool on 1st floor. Good security..can't access rooms via lift with out Keys..have a fire exit. Taxi to and from airport arrangements possible via reception/ travel desk. Can also arrange excursions via travel desk. Guest concerns addressed amicably...friendly manager, workers talk well of him...Hotel management appreciate feedback. Had a good stay...hope to be back when in Kampala.

Consistent with what I would expect from a Hilton which is impressive given availability of goods. Clean rooms and good service, particularly in the restaurant where we ate a good a la carte dinner. We only stayed one night before heading to the airport early morning so I can't comment on the location or walkability but the hotel had good security measures and was modern. My only complaint is that the showers were poorly set up so now matter how we ran the water it basically poured over the side of the tub onto the bathroom floor and we had to ask for service to mop it up. I forgot to take pictures aside from this fridge in the lobby which made me so happy that they made this large selection of drinks available to guests (for purchase) as most of the places we stayed in Uganda had very limited options.
