Enjoy Hostel Kyiv — Hotel in Kyiv

The worst place I have been to in my entire life !!! Firstly you face the language problem, the staff doesnt speek English and even doesnt want to try to help you. And the place is not the same as at the pictures they have. Administrator is not polite and always angry about something. There is only one bathroom and one toilet for all of the guests ( FOR 24 PEOPLE !) so you have to wait in the queue for way too long, plus all of the plumbing is old and doesn't work properly. At the kitchen was not enough space too, fridge and electric ketter are old and dirty. Also it was boiling hot in the rooms. My friend felt sick at the night and our Ukrainian friends wanted to call the administrator and help with translating ( because as I've already said nobody speaks English ) but nobody answered the phone. And they were really mad about this issue happening at the night, but what we could have done?! He felt sick !!! To add up, one night they have heard somebody being loud outside and thought that that was our company, when actually it wasn't, administrator called the owner and they wanted us to leave 2 days earlier without giving back our money and it was really hard to talk to them, we had to say sorry for nothing and ask them to let us stay. In fact, it wasn't the last problem, they asked us to pay extra money for something, said we did something wrong, couldn't normally explain what's the problem, we didn`t want to pay and administrator just LOCKED THE DOOR and didn't let us out !!! We ended up paying because we just wanted to leave this hostel as fast as possible, and they also didn't give us back the money fot the last night. To sum up, I had awful experience with this hostel, I didn't enjoy it and would never advice it...

The only plus is the location, the rest is terrible!||It feels like I was in a communal apartment or an awful dorm. The kitchen is dirty, cockroaches are running. One shower and toilet for 24 people! The staff is unpleasant, constantly outraged. It is surprising how administrator can run a hostel in the center of Kiev without understanding English. ||In a word, I can’t recommend it. For the same price you can find options...
