Mr. Grill Hotdogs & Burgers — Restaurant in Kyiv

I came to this place some time ago was was apparently too late to order (see my previous review for details), but finally managed to come back for a full experience! First things first, the place looks good but if u close ur eyes you will think you are about to dine in a toilet. The typical dehodorant smell is very invasive and definitely spoils the experience. Menu and prices: it's certainly not a cheap place. hot dogs set (dog, fries, drink - juice or soda) from 145 uah as well as burgers... yet you cannot order a simple dog and a drink, which means that asking for a milkshake (which they will sell to you as a desert) will be additional (it costs by menu 10 uah more). not drinking juice or sodas I've ordered a water; a glass of tap water is what i was served... About the food... Dog (cheese): good hot dog. The only thing is that they don't grate the cheese on top, and being sliced they make it melt by puting everything in the microwave. But tasty nonetheless. Fries: good and crispy Syrniki (cottage cheese pancakes): good. like syrniki. Service: hardly competent. first waiter was a trainee and after the 3rd question we asked he gave up amd another more experienced waiter joined the discussion. This is the guy who couldnt even explain what flavor the milkshake was, and was estranged to the fact that i wanted it as main drink to my dog. In general not a state of the art service. The shake - although i ordered without any kind of syrup - came with a berries syrup and was not a classic shake if you know your shakes, but was ok. Overall if u want a quick dog and you happen to be in podil, this is a place where u can get it. but if you are flexible i personally would rather go to the mini van that sells shawarma! u will eat well, fast and pay much less. Mr. Grill нам известен давно, ещё с детства, когда заезжаешь на заправку, и родители покупали хотдог с сосиской Mr. Grill. Поэтому, как только узнал, что у Mr. Grill открылось свое заведение, я сразу же захотел его посетить, и вот наконец-то мне удалось.

Плюсы:

-Персонал, очень приветливый, вежливый и профессиональный. Это прям огромный плюс.

-Интерьер интересный с кучей деталей, начиная с политиков с хотдогами, заканчивая бумажкой с Обамой, где разный текст. Интерьер можно обсудить, Лично от меня респект за красную гитару и зеркало при входе.

-Меню, признаюсь честно, Я не знаю, есть ли тут меню в бумажном виде, а Я люблю, когда меню именно в бумажном виде, в этом есть атмосфера. Но меню с QR-кодом выглядит стильно и, что самое важное, удобно.

-Еда вкусная, что ещё нужно знать? Мне, конечно, не хватило остроты в техасском хотдоге, но это цель — попробовать другие. Единственное, что хотел бы упомянуть, это цены на напитки — лично я посчитал, что 100 грн за лимонад как-то недопустимо дорого. В целом вся еда понравилась, но про напитки нечего сказать не могу.

-Цены, если откинуть раздел с напитками, мне показались ниже среднего, и когда видишь такие цены, такой сервис и чувствуешь такой вкус еды, реально хочется вернуться. Цены адекватные.

-Атмосфера, назвать её прям американской, скорее всего, нет, даже в OG Burgers атмосфера получше. Да, интерьер красочный, но атмосфера — это и музыка, и все, что происходит внутри заведения.

-Музыка — очень плохо, вот прям я бы сказал ужасно. Очень хорошо, что она была настолько тихая, но реклама в Spotify выбивало постоянно. Мы сидим, что-то обсуждаем, и тут вместо музыки — реклама, и все наш разговор просто ушел куда-то. Я советую просто купить премиум. Думаю, для ресторана в месяц 150 грн — это нечего А в идеале создать плейлист и добавить песен 100 (попсой, рэпом, роком), которые будут отсылать и делать атмосферу Америки.

Итог: цены, еда, персонал, местоположение, интерьер на достойном уровне. Я рекомендую пойти сюда хотя бы один раз и попробовать хотдоги от...
