Good value for money. Cafeteria style with pleasant atmoshere. This location is inside the Globus mall. There are just three or four tables on the first level. Most of the seating is upstairs. This location is not as big as many others, but the food is just as good. I like the borsht with smetana (sour cream) which comes in both a small and large serving. It is especially good on a cold day to warm you up. The fish dishes are generally good. I especially like the baked salmon. In December 2023 I had three dishes for 252 UAH or about 6.72 USD. I consider eating here a superior and healthier option that the many fast food options offered elsewhere in the mall. If you are staying at the Hotel Ukraine, this restaurant is a great nearby choice. Delivery services also work for...
Read morePL 🇵🇱 Serwują Dania kuchni ukraińskiej i za to wielki plus! Wszedłem tam za namową żony, która kiedyś tam jadła. To sieciówka, więc ocena jedzenia będzie dotyczyła wszystkich. We wszystkich lokalach podają to samo. Różnią się wystrojem i klimatem. Ten na Placu Niepodległości podobał mi się najbardziej. Uwaga! W lokalach w których byłem nie ma toalety. Są zlokalizowane najczęściej w centrach handlowych, więc nie jest to problem. Z dań mogę z czystym sumieniem polecić biały chłodnik, kotlet siekany, kotlet z indyka ze szpinakiem i fantastyczną sałatkę z fetą, pomidorami, ogórkami, szpinakiem w sosie winegret. Obsługa nie mówi po angielsku. ENG 🇬🇧🇺🇸
They serve Ukrainian cuisine and that's a big plus! I went there on the advice of my wife, who used to eat there. It's a chain, so the food rating will apply to all of them. I've eaten in several locations. Orders are canteen-style. We go up with a tray and if we know Ukrainian or Russian, we order (after asking what it is), they put as much as we want, then go to the cash register and go to the table. At lunchtime, it may be difficult to find a free seat because these are popular places. We take drinks ready from the shelf, or order at the stand next to it. The prices are low in relation to the quality. Despite the modifications of the sets, I couldn't exceed PLN 50, €13, $14? They serve the same thing in all the places. They differ in decor and atmosphere. I liked the one on Independence Square the most. Note! The places I've been to don't have a toilet. They are usually located in shopping malls, so it's not a problem. From the dishes I can with a clear conscience recommend the white cold soup, minced cutlet, turkey cutlet with spinach and a fantastic salad with feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, spinach in vinaigrette sauce. The staff does not...
Read moreI don't know what I ate but it was good. Came here based upon the recommendation of my Uber driver for authentic Ukrainian fare. The set up is cafeteria style: grab a tray and pick from food behind the sneeze shield as you move down the line. Ok, the food is served to you from behind the glass but the vibe is the same. I was a bit unsure what to try but there were some dumplings that I think I may come back for later in my trip. This particular location is under Independence Square, as part of the Globus mall underground. This is very much a chain and you can search Google maps to find many...
