I would like to express my gratitude to the hotel for upgrading us to a suite, which was a nice gesture. Unfortunately, this upgrade did not make our stay pleasant due to several issues.
Firstly, none of the three phones in the room worked during our stay. Even after the engineering team replaced them, the problem persisted, leaving us without a reliable way to contact the hotel. Secondly, we encountered a couple of cockroaches in the room, which was highly unpleasant.
On the day of departure, the hotel called our room at 10 AM. Since the room phone wasn’t functioning, I had to call back using my mobile phone, only to find out that the purpose of the call was to remind us of the 12 PM check-out time and to inform us that the hotel was extremely busy, so we needed to leave promptly. When I mentioned that I was already aware of the check-out time, I also noted that some guests might still be asleep at 10 AM. The person who called responded that it was part of their procedure, which felt intrusive and unnecessary.
Despite these issues, I would like to highlight the exceptional service of three individuals who stood out during our stay: Jeida from Reservations for her excellent assistance and support. Satar, the bellman, for his warm hospitality and genuine smile. Alisha at the Front Desk for her professionalism and communication, which was far superior compared to some of her colleagues.
While the hotel does have potential and some dedicated staff, these operational issues significantly impacted...
Read moreTo whom it may concern, I’ll try my best to stay professional and clear as I can. This experience was among many hotels experienced I’ve been through the worst. The room was really dirty and filled with dust, no single surface was clean and when the house keeping came the first time they did not clean nothing, not even changed the sheets until i told them to. Second of all when they tried to change the sheets the amount of dust that came out of it lead my eye to an infection that I am currently treating. Third and most important, when we first arrived at the hotel I told them specifically that I have a kidney transplant patient with me so we needed extra care, whenever the house keeping came I had to give them face masks and gloves so they don’t contaminate anything for my patient. And after all of that when I asked for compensation they told me they offer me “suhoor” ?! Like??! Excuse you?! What does “suhoor” treat my infected eye and endangered patient’s life with?!! And when I started to get mad they told me that I might have catched something from outside?! I told them that I am a dentist and I know percisely when I am infected and by what exactly (especially that I was wearing my face mask through this whole event) None the less, no refund, no compensations no nothing they just offered their apology. I am just saying truly what happened and I DO NOT RECOMMEND...
Read moreAbsolutely unacceptable — avoid this hotel, especially if you're booking through Etihad’s stopover program. This place is a complete disgrace and should not be on Etihad’s vetted hotel list. If they’re paying to be there, that’s the only explanation because the service, staff, and overall experience were appalling! The hotel is noisy, worn down, and poorly maintained. The staff are shockingly unprofessional especially the so-called concierge Sartar and bellboy Mohammad Bilal. Completely incompetent, dismissive, and unwilling to take any responsibility when things go wrong. We booked a tour through the hotel, got dropped at a mall, and were then abandoned by the driver (Samseer) who gave us his number and never responded. Even mall security tried calling him —nothing. We had to get back on our own via Uber. Back at the hotel, the staff claimed they had “nothing to do with it” even though they booked it. Minutes later, that same driver showed up demanding payment. Still, no apology, no accountability. Outrageous. Also, torn bed linen, noise throughout the night, and zero respect for guests. Etihad — this reflects badly on you! I expected far better. This hotel has no business being associated...
