Address Creek Harbour — Hotel in Dubai

My stays at Address Grand Creek Harbour have always been great: the on-site service is impeccable, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff is very professional.

However, I am extremely disappointed with the online experience. I had made two bookings for February and wanted to cancel them, but the mobile app is almost useless: you can only view your reservations, with no option to modify or cancel.

The website is even more frustrating: after clicking the link in the confirmation email, you arrive on a page where you are asked to enter your reservation number in the first field and your last name in the second field. No other fields are visible at this stage. When you click “Next,” the site tells you that the information is incomplete. Only at this point, because the page loads extremely slowly, does a frame with a dropdown menu appear above the reservation number field, asking you to select the hotel. Ideally, this frame should appear instantly and first.

When I tried to cancel the booking, I experimented with entering my last name in different ways. Sometimes no page would load at all because the site said there was no reservation under that name. Sometimes the page loaded even though the name was slightly different; in these cases, there were no “Update My Booking” or “Cancel My Booking” buttons, only a message telling me to contact Address Hotels by email to cancel. When the cancel confirmation window does appear and I click “Cancel My Booking” in the correct scenario, I get the message: “The last name on the reservation does not match the supplied last name.” This prevents me from cancelling the booking myself.

Additionally, my dashboard on the desktop website didn’t show any reservations, even though the app and confirmation emails did. I contacted customer service by email: they cancelled the first booking, and when I asked them to correct my name in their records and cancel my second booking, they only updated my name, which was already correct. Hypothetically, if I had been close to the cancellation deadline, this delay could have caused my card to be charged because I wouldn’t have been able to cancel myself and their email replies usually take 2–3 days.

It’s also strange because I had successfully cancelled a reservation myself in the past, which makes this experience even more confusing.

I suspect customer service may not be able to answer all my questions, but I hope that by posting this review here, it might reach the technical team and encourage improvements.

In summary: the hotel itself is excellent, but the website and app need major improvements to avoid frustrating guests and potentially causing...

We first stayed for one night before attending a very special birthday at the Address Fujairah beach resort. Then returned 2 days later to stay a further 6 nights. From the start everything was a total shambles, the concierge seemed clueless about their role, no one really communicated what or where to go for check in and leave the luggage. No welcome drinks nor anyone to guide us to the check in desk. We requested early check in but was told we would have to wait and see if it was possible. After loitering around for over 2 hours we were informed that a room was available soon. But it took a further hour before we actually got a room allocated. The room seemed clean and adequate. The front desk staff were not as professional and courteous as one would expect of an Address hotel. And lacked communication skills and seemed somewhat unfriendly. Then to mention one of our several disappointing incidents: one evening we ordered ice cream from Cold Stone which was delivered to us in the lobby. so we sat in the lobby around a coffee table to eat our ice cream however we didn’t get any spoons so we kindly asked at the cafe in the lobby if they could provide us with some spoons, but were told they were about to close so couldn’t give us any spoons. So we kindly explained that we would not be able to consume our ice cream without spoons and would they kindly try and avail us with some spoons. That is when a female staff started getting a little rude by saying that because we ordered ice cream from outside they would not provide us with spoons. Eventually after a shouting match with the female staff and the cafe manager they offered us spoons. We have made a formal complaint of this ridiculous and very trivial matter to the management. The Address group of hotels is such a prestigious and well known name, however in this instance we all (a large group of over 50) could not believe that the Address Creek Harbour was actually an Address hotel. I think we have all decided that we would not be returning to this hotel and would warn anyone wanting to stay here to stay well clear of this...

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the marble bathroom with a deep soaking tub was pure indulgence. Waking up to the sunrise over the creek was an unforgettable experience.

🍽️ Dining & Hospitality: The dining options here are exceptional—whether it’s a lavish breakfast spread at The Restaurant or an exquisite dinner at one of their signature venues, every bite was delicious. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every request was met with a smile. Special shoutout to the concierge team for their impeccable service!

🏊 Amenities & Leisure: The infinity pool overlooking the creek is a dream, and the spa was a sanctuary of relaxation. I also loved the state-of-the-art gym and the easy access to nearby attractions like the Dubai Mall and Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary.
