Absolutely dismal service and moreover shocking when u hear that this restaurent has no Hot Water for it's customers. We had requested for hot water to cleanse the baby bottle however the waiter then poured the water from the bottled water we ordered into another glass upon asking why he said he would heat this water and bring it back as THE KITCHEN DOESN'T HAVE HOT WATER. I mean which kitchen would not have hot water for it's customers. Seems none of their kitchens in uae have got hot water for their customers. How does even this statement make any sense for any restaurent. Apparently they are finalists for the restaurent of the year! How IRONIC!
Had a similar experience with their sharjah branch in Abushaghara 2 years ago. The waiter was rude & incoherent in his expression due to which we were disappointed and left a subsequent review. The manager of the restaurant managed to get in touch with me & requested to remove the review as there was pressure for their bosses. Feeling empathetic towards them I took it down and was determined not to visit the site again. And now this happens! Little I knew they haven't changed one bit... Take time out to know ur customers else they will take the time out to leave u reviews of this sort.
Think they should spend a little less on their fancy decor and provide hot water to the patrons instead.
But then again since they don't cook in their kitchens as food is prepared in Central kitchen and it's a just pathetic that they treat their customers like this.
Even food we ordered is not to the expectations of our palate. Everything seemed a bit too bland and raw.
Very disappointed but guess we are short changed for Indian cuisine outlets in that area and have not other choice. Just ask for hot water and u will know what service...
Read moreWe decided to finally try Gazebo in Dubai creek harbour for the first time and we ordered takeaway for dinner. Gazebo in DIFC is quite possibly my favourite Indian restaurant, so when Gazebo opened up in Dubai creek harbour I was super excited to have it on my doorstep. We ordered the Murgh tikka masala, butter chicken and Reshmi kabab masala and it came to 136aed.
Unfortunately the food was somewhat disappointing and did not match the same quality or taste as what we had been accustomed to from the DIFC branch. The Murgh tikka masala was not nice at all and majority of the curry was left untouched. The butter chicken curry itself was nice but the chicken was very chewy. Finally the Reshmi kabab masala was possibly the nicest curry out of the 3. Overall the food was average. In future I think I will order from DIFC.
If you opt to dine in and sit outside you will have good views, but if you want good quality Indian food you may be left...
Read moreWe decided to try Gazebo, Dubai Creek Harbour hoping for a standout Indian meal, and overall the food & service were good—solid, reliable choices, but nothing that really blew us away. The curries had decent flavour, the biryani was fragrant, and the staff was attentive, though some dishes lacked that little spark or finesse you expect when paying premium prices. The view and ambience are nice, which adds to the experience, but it doesn’t quite make up for the mildly underwhelming portions in certain items.
Now about dessert—the AED 25 mango cheesecake at the end was just toooooo sweet, which felt like overkill. Instead of a refreshing finish, it tipped into cloying territory. A lighter touch, or a smaller garnish of sweetness, would have balanced it better. All told, I’d give Gazebo Harbour a 3-star from me: it’s good enough for a casual dinner, but I’d think twice before returning expecting something...
