Today i visited the restaurant with my Family for breakfast and I asked one of the staff (his name might be Hussein) if the pet is allowed and he replied yes but only outside and while we were having our breakfast we saw other guest coming and sitting inside with their pets. The staff didn’t even greet and smile to us. Anyway we order our food and the staff didn’t bring tissue paper and cutlery on our table and we had to ask for it but to other customer the staff came and greeted very well to them and set the table before they ordered food (this was next to our table). When our food arrived he handed the food to our hand instead of placing on the table. This felt discrimination to us as we were the only Asian family there and other customer were western. There was one more lady staff whom we asked for coffee and requested for takeaway she responded with her face making in a rude way “let me check” not address in polite way and we had not finished our food she asked if she can clean it but she could see the food still on our plate and my son was eating. I would not recommend anyone to go if this is the standard of hospitality services of this restaurant staff are giving. We go to restaurants to eat good food and have good time but if such service is given with paying than plz do not visit.
Management of this resturant should make a policy and train their staff that all customer are equal and they pay same money as...
Read moreWe came here for the first time because of the amazing reviews on Google and they did NOT disappoint. Before we get into the food, let's just talk about the view. Skyline by day, sunset hues in the evening and dazzling by night. Have a look at the pictures. The service and recommendations we got from our waitress Angelie was second to none. Brilliant attention to detail and good recommendations. She knows the menu well. Now we feast! The dynamite shrimp which was a GREAT take on this classic. Plot Twist: there is no batter. But the fish speaks for itself. It was perfectly cooked! The sauce was well balanced and it was served on a bed of fresh, crunchy lettuce which was edible not just for aesthetics. We also had the kibebat which was flavourful, creamy and paired perfectly with arabic bread. And then the short rib risotto. Deeeee! Lishus! We were worried the short rib would be scarce as its shredded. But it had the perfect texture and umami to balance the rice. I would've added more parmesan but we devoured it so quickly we forgot to ask. The nutella bread and butter pudding was decadent. You'd definitely need a coffee or sour drink to cut it. But so worth it. We're coming back here in a few days to try the other desserts. As far as drinks go, the lychee and peach Iced tea was slightly sweet, slightly sour and fully refreshing. The menu is extensive with lots of other tempting dishes. I'd really recommend you...
Read moreI came here based on recommendations I had read about it as I found myself quite close by having visited the Mohammed Bin Rashid library beforehand. Took the ferry from Al Jadaf marine station about 100 metres behind Creek Metro station. It was a quick 5 minute ride on the Ferry to the Creek harbour which itself is rather lovely - filled with some pretty fancy motor yachts and cruisers and a selection of cafe’s and restaurants lining the harbour walkway. The place is light and airy and beautifully air conditioned. Sadly just too warm for me to sit outside as the view was beautiful. The staff are extremely welcoming and the food was tasty and service quick. I ordered their version of an “English Breakfast” which though not traditional was very pretty to look at and more importantly tasty. Had an iced Spanish Latte which was very nice and thankfully not overdone on the sweetness. As I was relaxing to have a quiet read surrounded by other patrons tucking into a fabulous looking selection of desserts - I checked them out on the menu and all of them look fantastic. Having decided I had better avoid them, the manager of the place who had been quietly doing some accounts work in the corner, came over and presented me with a slice of chocolate cake “on the house”!! Yes, it was as tasty as it looks. Must visit place if you...
