Palace Dubai Creek Harbour — Hotel in Dubai

This hotel is not recommended at all due to the below: Time duration for check in: we have waited for so long to get our room Wrong room: after waiting for so long to get in our room, we got a wrong room which had 2 twin beds although we made it very clear with our booking choosing king size bed. Unclear booking: they have in their website 2 options for the standard room, One was the deluxe partial canal view, and the other one was full canal view. We paid extra money to get the full Canal view. However, after we have got the room it was partial canal view due to construction happing in the full canal view room. They should be honest from the beginning and delete the full canal view option so people can be fooled by getting the partial view thinking this is the full canal view. We requested for refund the rest of the money which was about 500 AED. Not honest staff: upon check in, they gave incorrect information by telling me that our room was the last room available at the hotel and as it was fully booked. But when I got the wrong room (twin bed instead of king), suddenly they had another room to move us. Value of Money: very expensive based on the treatment and quality we got from the staff and type of room. Uncomfortable things happened: such as while we were sleeping, the fire alarm started suddenly without any reason which was very frustrating and disturbing. Unprofessional procedure for refund: after we requested for the 500 AED refund, they told us upon checkout we will refund you and they did not. Upon checkout they told us “now we will raise the refund request” which will take up to 14 working days. I called a couple days after my staycation and asked what happened to my refund, they said AGAIN “now we will raise the refund request which might take even longer. They waited me to call and ask for our money to raise the request or what!! this is not a treatment of a professional hotel at all. Deduction instead of refund: the most shocking part was when the time came to get our refund, I have noticed that they DEDUCT THE AMOUNT OF 500 AED instead of refunding it. I checked with my bank and they confirmed that this was a deduct not a refund. I don’t know what they did exactly by mistake to deduct but this is not a place where I can trust giving my card details. They will just deduct easily without getting back to the client. Bad communication: when I called the hotel (a manager called “Joshua” to ask why they deduct instead of refund, he told me i will check and let you know within 10 mins. The 10 mins has passed and I kept sending email reminder and I got completely IGNORED” the refund is done but I got the answer from my bank statement not from them. They did not get back to me and apologize at least for this huge mistake happened.

All this happened to us when we were trying to celebrate at a new hotel in dubai. However, it turned out to be the most horrible experience ever. Me and my friend are huge fan of trying new hotels in all over UAE, Palace Dubai Creek Harbour was just not worth the try at all....

To continue my yearly tradition of spending my birthdays with Emaar, I have learned that their newest property just opened on the 1st of May. My birthday month. So i opted to explore the wonders of Palace Dubai Creek Harbour! Prior to my booking date, the Palace Creek staff already impressed by getting an advance call from Ms. Ghofranregarding my stay. This gives the impression of importance for the guest and being the first time to visit the property, it was a forward welcoming gesture from the property. As i headed over to the newly opened hotel, i was greeted with warm welcome right from the lobby staff headed by Mr. Sridharan and Rafiq who took care of my luggage all the way to the room. An amazing ambience greeted in the lobby with impeccable detail to design. Contemporary meets Arabic flair! The lobby is impressive with attention to detail. The artworks displayed and the workmanship is truly Emaar class. Clean lines with minimalist details highlighting Arabic traditional art all around the hotel. The signature Emaar scent can be smelt all throughout the hotel. Nonetheless, a very welcoming staff attended to me at the reception. My appreciation to the front office staff specially to Ms. Joy and her team Ms. Sahar, Ms. Ghofran, Mr. Mohammmed and finally met face to face Ms. Ghofran who in person was a real gem. As an Emaar member, i was handled with flawless check-in process. Ms. Joy went out of her way to arrange a birthday surprise and even took the time to assist and show me the property. A truly amazing gesture of welcome. The room is spot clean with all new interiors, again attention to detail can bee seen in all the room fixtures, signature Emaar amenities are available. The view is impressive looking by the Creek with a glimpse of Vida Beach Creek hotel. Another impressive property. I also had the chance to meet Mr. Joshua, Duty Manager at that time and discussed futher the hotel details and amenities. I was greeted with a birthday cake and room arrangements made by the Palace team. Totally impressed to get a special welcome for my birthday. Mr. Sachit was also very helpful and attended to our housekeeping needs with fast delivery of service. With the hotel being near to Festival mall, and restaurant around the Creek, it is very convenient for all guests to access food and entertainment. Breakfast at Ewaan was sumptuous with Ms. Maria greeting us and Chef Chris also attending to all guests. A good assortment of breakfast varieties, good choice of entrees, good coffee and a very reserved atmosphere. The overall stay at the Palace Creek Harbour was perfect! A quaint and private hotel with all the amenities it can offer. Tranquil, peaceful respite just within Dubai city reach. My hats off the the amazing team of Palace Dubai Creek Harbour for having the best service. As usually a newly opened property would have some hiccups but the Palace Creek did an amazingly flawless presentation! Kudos and keep up the good service to the team! I had the pleasure of staying at The Palace, Creek Harbour in Dubai this past August 2024 to celebrate my birthday, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while, and now, I’m finally giving this remarkable hotel the recognition it truly deserves.

From the moment we stepped into the stunning reception area, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff. A special thanks goes to Khushoboo at the reception desk, who made our check-in process seamless and delightful. She was incredibly sweet, friendly, and attentive, setting the tone for a truly exceptional stay.

The rooms were spotless, modern, and tastefully designed, offering every comfort I could ask for. The attention to detail in cleanliness and style was impressive, making it feel like a home away from home. The hotel’s ambiance was perfect—quiet, warm, modest & family-friendly, providing a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

One highlight that made my stay special was how the hotel surprised me with a complimentary birthday cake and sweets, which was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. It truly made me feel valued and added a personal touch to the entire experience.

Initially, I had booked a two-night stay, but I was so impressed by the overall experience that I decided to extend my stay for an additional night.

The location of the hotel is also worth mentioning—it strikes a perfect balance between accessibility and tranquility. Situated in a prime spot in Dubai, it’s close to many key attractions yet far enough from the crowded, busy areas to provide a peaceful retreat.

The views from the hotel were simply breathtaking, The scenery of the creek was incredible.

One of the most surprising aspects was the pricing. Compared to other hotels in Dubai, The Palace offers amazing value for money. Considering the level of comfort, the exceptional service, and the overall great experience, it far exceeded my expectations and provided luxury at a very reasonable price.

I would wholeheartedly recommend The Palace, Creek Harbour to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing stay in Dubai. The staff’s friendliness, the impeccable facilities, and the overall warmth of the place make it a must-visit destination. I am already looking forward to returning in the future.
