My New Favorite Spot in Dubai!
Today, I had the pleasure of visiting DUO Gastrobar, the newly opened restaurant in Dubai Creek Harbour, and I am still amazed by the experience. From the atmosphere to the food and service, everything was absolutely exceptional.
The décor is modern and sophisticated, with elegant lighting and a comfortable seating arrangement that creates a warm yet upscale ambiance. And the view—dining with the serene waters of Dubai Creek and the city skyline in the background is a true delight.
Open Kitchen: A Feast for the Senses One of the most impressive aspects was the open kitchen concept. Watching the chefs meticulously prepare each dish was both fascinating and inspiring. The enticing aromas wafting from the kitchen only added to the anticipation of the meal.
An Unforgettable Culinary Journey Now, let’s talk about the food. Every dish was a masterpiece, both in taste and presentation. I started with the truffle cabbage, which had an incredible depth of flavor and a perfect texture. Next came the salmon carpaccio, fresh and delicately seasoned—a true highlight. For the main course, I chose a meat dish that was cooked to absolute perfection. The tenderness of the meat was remarkable; it practically melted in my mouth. And to finish, I indulged in a raspberry dessert that was simply phenomenal. The balance of flavors and the beautiful presentation made it an unforgettable ending to the meal.
Impeccable Service The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. They patiently answered our questions and offered excellent recommendations, enhancing the overall experience.

Read moreAmazing restaurant and delicious food for a reasonable price. Duo gastrobar is located in the Creek Harbour area, and one of the most romantic ways to get there is by taking a shuttle public transport boat (RTA). The restaurant is about a 7-minute distance from the pier, along the picturesque and pleasant walkway. It is relatively small, beautifully designed, and incredibly cozy. The service is perfect, from greeting the guests to the almost invisible change of plates/cutlery, refilling water glasses, and ideal waiters' knowledge of the dishes and ability to remember orders by heart. The kitchen is open, crystal-clear, with perfect ventilation, so no foreign smell interfere your stay. We took a beef tartare, pasta caccio e pepe, tuna ceviche, Atlantic cod with asparagus - all dishes were above our expectations: delicious so that even after eating, we wanted to enjoy and eat some more, food melted in the mouth and were incredibly fresh with great sauces/ingredients combinations. The desserts were a head above any local pastry cafeteria. I also would like to say that before bringing the meal, you will be served with a warm homemade bread from the oven and a delicate whipped salted butter. I was absolutely delighted. I would like to point out that with such a high level of cuisine and service, the prices are very reasonable and even slightly lower compared to other places. The tables are served with a white cloth, beautiful French cutlery and some fine English porcelain, I loved it too. I highly recommend this place if you want to experience a Michelin-guide restaurant and have a great/excellent dining experience. Duo is in my heart, thank you, you...
Read moreI had dinner today at DUO in Creek Harbour, and it’s easily one of the most refined and thoughtfully designed restaurants I’ve visited in Dubai. The atmosphere is calm and elegant, the service attentive yet relaxed, and the food — simply exceptional.
I started with the tuna ceviche with cucumber and cilantro — incredibly fresh, slightly tangy, and perfectly balanced. Then came the green salad with sesame dressing, simple at first glance but so well-prepared that every bite felt refreshing and addictive.
The highlight was the spaghetti with king crab — pure perfection. The pasta was cooked flawlessly, the crab tender and sweet, and the sauce light but full of flavor. It’s clear the chefs here understand balance and precision.
For dessert, I tried the passion fruit with gorgonzola — an unexpected combination that worked beautifully. The tartness of the fruit, the creamy richness of the cheese, and the soft textures made for a memorable and elegant finish.
The open kitchen adds a special charm — you can see the chefs working with focus and care, turning every dish into a small piece of art. The warm ambiance, the sounds of the kitchen, and the aromas all come together to create a complete dining experience.
DUO is a place you’ll want to...
