This is going to be the most honest and best review, probably, in the history of this hotel!😂 My husband and I spent about 1.5!! months in this hotel. We also stayed in 10 other hotels in Dubai between May, but every time we came back here because you feel at home.. During all this long stay, we didn't notice any negative aspects at all.. There is a very tasty breakfast here, when you come, everyone is happy to see you, they smile, they cook a delicious omelet and they will always prompt and help. It's a very cool room, there are towels, water, apples, even a mini protein bar. There are a lot of simulators, as well as various equipment, and very cheerful music is playing. The rooms.. The rooms here are really gorgeous. The most classic room is more than 40 meters. The bed is huge, the cleaning is done with love and very well, and everything smells so good. I've never had any issues with the service, and I'm completely satisfied. I haven't visited the spa, but it smells like paradise, and it's incredible! I'll cover all the features of this hotel so that you can see why you should come here. The pool is my favorite. The lifeguards are excellent, always monitoring the guests and ensuring that everything is perfect. The pool is clean, cool, and the right depth, and the sun loungers are so soft and have cool curtains for a relaxing experience. On the 23rd floor, there is a cool lounge area where you can drink cola and listen to music. And on the first floor, there is a delicious food tasting every day from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. There is a charming girl there... And of course, there is a huge underground parking lot) There are also great meeting rooms and places to work, since the hotel is located in the Media City area, this is especially common here, various events are held for companies, while we were here, we even managed to catch a wedding. The staff tried very hard, everyone was happy. Without going far from the area, there is a very nice park nearby, convenient for jogging in the morning and walking in general. There is a gas station within a minute's walk, there are cafes, a pharmacy and a convenience store. It is especially convenient if you have a car, and any area of Dubai is within easy reach. You must admit, it's all gorgeous, but the most important thing here is the people and the staff. Absolutely everyone in this hotel deserves attention, but I'm going to write a whole book like this.. When you haven't entered the hotel yet, they greet you, open the door, help, and smile. Then you go inside, there's a gorgeous, beautiful lobby that I fell in love with during that time, it's literally gorgeous. The reception staff meets you there, they're all such sweethearts, you should know) And it's absolutely the same everywhere. All the hotel staff who are reading this, know that you do your job better than anyone else. So if the hotel owner or the manager respects the employees for their excellent work, it's impossible to write so many reviews about each person, but know that everyone was 100% excellent in their own field. In turn, I want to say THANK YOU to the hotel manager and everyone involved. I love you guys. For those who are reading this, I recommend visiting this hotel, as it is perfect in every aspect. But we're leaving tomorrow, and I'm sure we'll be back. With respect, Agnia and my husband😝🥰

As an Accor Platinum Member currently staying at the hotel, I felt compelled to share this feedback. Despite my loyalty to the group and informing the reception team twice, the air conditioning in the room remains an issue. It appears to be motion-sensor based — meaning if you’re asleep and not moving, the system shuts off. The result? Uncomfortable nights in a room that swings between hot and cold, making it difficult to rest properly. Breakfast has been another letdown. The coffee served is far below standard — unpleasant in taste and smell. While the lobby café offers Lavazza, the restaurant and executive lounge serve what seems like a poor-quality alternative that’s frankly undrinkable. What’s even more concerning is the lack of response. I’ve raised these issues with multiple staff members, but no one seems to take ownership or show genuine concern. It’s become apparent that a large majority of the staff are trainees — perhaps due to the off-season — and while I understand the need for training, it should not come at the expense of guest comfort and service quality. I had initially planned to extend my stay for another month following this two-week reservation. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I’ll be looking elsewhere. This is not the standard I expect from a brand like Mövenpick.

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Plaza Movenpick, largely thanks to the fantastic breakfast service. Pauline, Manika, Bidhya, and Ruslan made our mornings bright with their warm and attentive care. Pauline greeted us every day with a smile, ensuring we had everything we needed. Manika went above and beyond to make us comfortable. Bidhya's friendly service added a lovely personal touch, and Ruslan's professionalism and attention to detail were impressive. The breakfast was diverse and delicious, made even better by the excellent service. We look forward to our next visit, knowing we'll be in great hands. Thank you, Pauline, Manika, Bidhya, and Ruslan, for your dedication and hospitality! Update from our second visit: Once again, we had a fantastic experience. The chef at breakfast was exceptionally accommodating with gluten-free options, which we truly appreciated. Mike at reception, Jaslan from housekeeping, and Islam from guest services were all wonderful—friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. Thank you all for another memorable stay!

We spent three days at the Mövenpick Media City as part of our honeymoon, and unfortunately, the experience was largely disappointing.

To be fair, the room was beautiful, spacious, and well-furnished. However, the cleanliness was lacking, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard.

Some of the staff were not welcoming at all, and even came across as disrespectful. One particularly frustrating incident involved an issue with Global Village tickets. We had purchased the tickets online before arriving in Dubai, and although the payment was successfully processed, we never received the tickets. When we kindly asked for help at the hotel, explaining that our emails had gone unanswered, one staff member bluntly told us it wasn’t his problem and made no effort to assist us or show any empathy.

The breakfast service was equally disappointing. On the first morning, we had to ask for our coffee three times as it was repeatedly forgotten. On the second day, we weren’t even given napkins to wipe our mouths. The most upsetting moment was when my wife asked the chef to prepare an egg for her. Another guest (a man) arrived after her and asked for two eggs. He was served before her, receiving both eggs — likely including the one meant for my wife — while she was left waiting for the chef to make a new one. This was simply unacceptable.

Fortunately, we had planned to split our honeymoon across multiple hotels. This disappointing stay didn’t ruin our entire trip. One thing is for sure: we will not be returning to this hotel. Not because it lacks beauty, but because the staff’s attitude and service were far below...

We arrived early, prior to check in time. The young lady at the reception desk checked us in, let us know breakfast and evening canopies were included in our stay, tagged our bags to be stored, and offered us a place on the 5th floor to freshen up. The room had a bathroom and a shower, separate areas for men and women. We went returned our bags were already in our room, complimentary water and fresh fruit was on our table. Our room was beyond spacious, clean, and the view was amazing. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful!! Fresh fruit, omelet station, pancakes, were among just a few items to choose from. Breakfast was definitely beyond our expectations. Evening canopies were also above and beyond. Our flight home was early Monday morning and we would be missing breakfast. We were given the option of having a take away breakfast delivered to our rooms before we left for the airport. It was delivered on time, we received coffee of our choice, juice, fresh fruit, and pastries for both of us. The hotel had someone ready to take us to the airport as well. Our stay at the Grand Plaza Movenpick was exceptional. We travel quite a bit and have already checked for other properties that are available. We would definitely stay at one of the properties again. There was nothing not to like about the Grand Plaza Movenpick. The staff, property, and all that the hotel offers is beyond...
