Loved it! We visited on a Sunday towards the end of a long holiday. We had two lacto-ovo vegetarians and three meat eaters in our group.
We ordered: The 1st Avocado Toast on the Menu: For the vegetarians. It was pretty standard/average.
The Truffle Mushroom Toast: For the vegetarians. It was outstanding. I don't like truffles and I loved it as well. Cutting through the sourdough was frustrating. Wish there were steak knives.
Burrata Sourdough Sandwich: Again, this was for the vegetarians. It was really good! I wasn't sure how I would feel about the cherry jam as I don't like cooked/preserved cherries (I love fresh cherries though) because they tend to have a cough-syrupy taste, but this was really good!
The Queen's Breakfast: A lot of food. My favorite part of the whole breakfast plate were the chicken sausage and hash browns. The rest was pretty standard - mushrooms, tomatoes, scrambled eggs & beans. Cutting through the sourdough was frustrating. Wish there were steak knives.
Eggs Benedict Crumpets: So I was torn between ordering this and the Beef Eggs Benedict, the server said both were very good and very popular but she suggested this one. It was really good. Could have done with a touch more hollandaise, but otherwise it was delicious.
Cheesecake French Toast: Probably the best thing we ate there. It was soooo good! Wished there were twice as many meringues but it was sooooo goood! I would go back just for this!
Drinks: Pistachio Latte (1 of the cold, and 1 of the hot): Disappointing. Expected a much stronger/better pistachio flavor. We've had better Pistachio Lattes/Drinks.
Iced Honey & Cinnamon Latte (Less Ice): Soooo good! It was a bit on the sweet side, and the cinnamon was very subtle, but it was really delicious!
Caffe Latte: As one would expect.
Cappuccino (Coconut Milk): As one...
Read moreToday's experience @arrowsparrows left all of us shocked & surprised ! We are still aghast on the services even after 9 hours have passed by...
We walked into @arrowsparrows at 1pm and ordered few drinks along with A&S Burger. The waiter served the order within few minutes. Inspite of clear instruction that its dining he still got the parcel. Anyhow, we ignored it & unpacked it ourselves & started having the food.
While I was about to take 1st bite of the burger, i felt something wrong with the burger, so called the staff & verified as i had ordered Veg Burger. He confirmed its a BEEF burger. I am pure vegetarian, and I was served a BEEF burger inspite of clearly informing him to use Veg patty.
Politely, I tried to understand the reason for confusion. We took up the issue with the store manager, and instead of acknowledging the concern, he was extremely rude & full of attitude. I, being vegetarian, was served BEEF wherein the waiter acknowledged taking Veg Burger order. The store manager was not even sensitive towards religious sentiments.
He started shouting & abusing us. Inspite of solving the issue, he threatened to call the police. On which we agreed to call the police as we also wanted to show Police the evidence, CCTV recordings of his behaviour and how we were fooled to have BEEF inspite of ordering Veg Burger wherein his junior intervened & diffused the situation.
IT'S THE MOST PATHETIC EXPERIENCE WE FACED EVER. NONE OF US WOULD EVER VISIT...
