Condidering lah lah is only a few floors up this place is pretty poor in comparison. The service is very inattentive we were the only ones sitting inside, we got a menu but no one asked if we would like a drink until we were ready to order food. There is no cocktail menu which is ridiculous for any bar but we were told they can make classic cocktails (very uninspiring and you have to guess the prices as no list). I wanted bruschetta 3 ways as advertised in the menu picture I attached, but was told it’s actually only bruschetta 1 way as I had to choose only one of the three options listed for all three bruschetta. Because I ordered tapas and my husband ordered a burger I’d been served and finished all my tapas before his was delivered. We had to get up and go to the bar to order a second drink and go to the till to ask for the bill as no one attended our table despite being empty. They said they were dog friendly so we brought our well behaved friendly pooch but our waiter was afraid of dogs so perhaps that’s why we were unattended. Suggestions for improvement :- hire people comfortable with dogs at a dog friendly restaurant. Don’t false advertise / disappoint customers with the menu - “Bruschetta 3 ways” should be three different toppings I should not have to choose only 1 way. The great thing about this restaurant is that they allow pets and have a pets section. They don’t have dog food but you can order shredded chicken and they give you a water bowl for your dog.

The service wasn’t great at all. When the waiter asked me which meal we’d like first, I said the starters. As soon as we got the starters, they came to serve us the mains even though there wasn’t much space on the table and we didn’t start eating the starters yet. After taking it back, they served us the mains without clearing the table first. These are little things that do make a difference. Also, it was very hard to get a servers attention for every dish and the bill even though the place wasn’t crowded and we could see them talking most of the time. I had to keep waving out until someone actually looked at us.

However, the summer lunch menu was delicious! It came with a bottle of water per person. We had the tacos for starters, the chicken burger and cauliflower for mains and the chocolate fondant with salted caramel icecream.
