From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a genuine smile and a warm welcome by Mr. Ibrahim and Mr.Bijesh and other staff also but I don’t remember all the names🙏. Firstly, I am a hardcore fan of Kerala cuisine, being a Keralite myself. Whenever I eat out—whether it’s a quick meal on the run or an outing with my family—I always look for restaurants that serve Kerala food as my first choice.

Unfortunately, I had the worst experience with this particular restaurant, or rather this branch at Dubai Internet City.

The first incident happened when I found a piece of sharp metal, which I believe came from a cleaning scrub, in one of my orders. The worst part is, even after I brought it to their notice, they still billed me for that dish. I paid it anyway, thinking maybe that’s their way of handling "premium customer service." I didn’t want to cause a scene—after all, we Kabayans usually try to be understanding and stand with our people.

The second incident happened just two days ago. Honestly, I had stopped going there after the first issue because I wasn’t happy with how they handled it. Still, I thought it might have been a rare accident and decided to give them another chance. This time, I was served beef that was so tough it was worse than chewing gum. When I complained, the server told me that “beef is supposed to be like this.” I asked him, “If I can’t even tear it apart with my hand, then how am I supposed to eat it?” I requested a replacement and he suggested mutton instead—but the mutton served to me smelled stale and old.

I strongly believe they are serving leftover food to customers who complain. It genuinely felt like they took unfinished food from another plate, reheated it with some masala, and served it to me as a replacement.

To make things worse, the reception guy shamelessly added both dishes to my bill, including the stale replacement, and charged me in full.

Please, if you encounter such situations, don’t make the same mistake I did with the first incident—always raise a complaint. That sharp metal piece could have seriously harmed my health.
