Vietnamese Snack Food Cafe Restaurant - The Greens — Restaurant in Dubai

Dishes in this joint are served quickly, but bun bo hue is a disaster - tasteless and spiceless. I used all of their condiments and salt to give some flavour to my soup and at the end my eyes were burning from the spice, but the flavour was still missing, it tasted like if smth is lacking in the base of the soup and it could not have been fixed with any condiments whatsoever. My husband's chicken was okay, okay (rice was more flavourful than chicken though), spring rolls and crackers also, smoothie was the best of it all, but sio mai were again totally tasteless. Plus many dishes, drinks and desserts from the menu were not available at all, that's a big minus. Overall I would not visit the restaurant again and as one other reviewer has written - there is one other Vietnamese restaurant in the area which tops this one by 100%. Props to the staff though, the girl from Myanmar is friendly and forthcoming, also the restaurant's design is quite original and pleasant. I really don't know how to rate this place to be quite honest, because kindness of the staff can't overshadow the quality of the food right, so I am still giving it only 1 star since the food is unfortunately one of the worst Vietnamese restaurants in whole of Tecom, JLT, Barsha or Karama. Hire a different chef or your restaurant will be in ruins, you are at the main spot, but empty when for ex. the game restaurant next to you is overflowing with people. It's a pity to massacre one of the best cuisines in the world...

🌾I found out this amazing restaurant serving the most authentic Vietnamese cuisine in Dubai. 📍I had never tried Vietnamese food and I’m happy I went to this beautiful restaurant called Vietnamese Snacks and Food Cafe located in Onyx Tower Greens Dubai which made my first experience the very best one. ⭐️We were welcomed warmly by staff Thin and manager Nguyen who also took very good care of us. 🍶The restaurant has beautiful interiors and decor which takes you to Vietnam instantly. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. 💯The dishes we ordered were all freshly prepared and very delicious. 🍲For starters we had yummy and hot Vietnamese Soup 🫔Crispy Spring Rolls which were the most delicious spring rolls I’ve ever tried, Yummy Coconut Prawns🍤, Vietnamese Pan cake which was the best ever, Crispy Lobster Ravioli and 🍜Wok Fried Noodles which were oozing with flavor. 👌Then came the most delicious mains. Cozy ambience and great service. We ordered some of their best-sellers: Crispy spring rolls - a must try! Vietnamese beef noodle soup - fragrant broth and tender noodles Crispy chicken with limes leaves and salt - crispy on the outside and tender on the inside Grilled salmon - grilled to perfection We capped it off with the famous Vietnamese special iced coffee and fresh lemon juice, so refreshing!
