Dunes Hotel Apartments Oud Metha — Hotel in Dubai

I'm happy to choose Dunes Hotel Apartment because of it’s value for money to stay for 2 weeks. Even before we arrived, there were some last minute changes which the hotel manager was very understanding and able to tolerate all my last minute requests and challenges. My friend who was arriving from London before me was warmly received from the airport and made comfortable before I came. Our room was even upgraded at no extra cost by the manager on arrival.

All was great, from the moment l arrived, I was warmly greeted/helped at once by their bellboy/concierge. Mt initial impression and giving information was very fast at the reception.

For us, it’s like home away from home, literally, all the usual amenities plus Kitchen, dinner wares, microwave, toaster & washing machine are available and in excellent working condition. The room is spacious and very quiet at night even though it’s not very far from town.

The hotel is close by to everything in Dubai such the Dubai mall, local shops and all forms of transportations are just calling/booking from the reception or walking to the metro station. Shout out to EJ who made our 2 weeks stay extra pleasant by his daily smiles to greet us and taking his time to ask about how we are doing, helping us to advise about how we could use the metro. His advice with his smiles is immeasurable. In fact it would be unfair to just mention just EJ, because everyone including the housekeepers Staff at Juicy. I don’t know the name of everyone, but our 2 weeks experience here have been an excellent one. Shout out to the whole team.

The buffet breakfast selections are always varied and nice with great service from the staff there too. The housekeeping staff assigned on our floor are always helpful and the rooms are always cleaned nicely. By the way, I need to mention about our comfortable bed…

Dunes hotel is a great place to live and relax. It’s perfectly located, at Oud Metha is a quiet place, bus stops and metro stations are not far from the hotel. There are an excellent set of grocery stores around, including a large supermarket with quality foods. We had a large spacious two bedroom apartment with all the necessary amenities. Perhaps, the hotel and the environment in it is not the newest, however Oud Metha is not such a tourist area, and you can actually spend time there quietly. I lived in Dunes for a month and according to the plan I had to do gymming every day. The hotel has a small but well-equipped gym and an excellent swimming pool with clean, I want to emphasize with clean and comfortable water. Since I worked out every day at the gym and swam in the hotel’s pool , it turned out that there was a very qualified lifeguard, his name is Divine, who helped me daily in my workouts assisting the selection and installation of the equipment in the gym, so my workouts were very high quality. I want to note that the lifeguard Divine speaks fluently in 3 languages ​​​​: English, French , Arabic, besides his native and Pigeon English . He is extremely professional and polite and I also found out that he was in charge of the quality of the water in the pool . Divine was very well aware that the comfort of the water is very important for guests since December and January 2023 were relatively cold months in Dubai but the water was exceptionally heated so that if it was windy outside you could swim very comfortably. In addition, I want to express special gratitude to the staff by name, because these people were very helpful and made our stay in Dunes pleasant.
