This place is so lacklustre I can barely be bothered to write a review, but if it will save a couple of weary travelers from venturing to the Rose Lodge, then I will...||||This place isn't like staying in a Guest House, but like staying over at a particularly disorganised stranger's house. Smelly rooms, a hoover and odd bits of building materials lying about the hallway, no brown toast, a bathroom shared between 6 rooms, a bundle of washing (dirty or clean? Who knows?) in the breakfast room, so that there was a bra under one of the dining tables, a mediocre breakfast - In no particular order these are the things that made this all a bit rubbush.||||But the single bed I slept in was quite comfy. This is the one redeeming factor.||||Again I am flabberghasted at the fact that owners don't want to put a bit of love into their places and make them welcoming for visitors.
