The Locked Door Escape Games — Attraction in Aberdeen City

Having been to a few escape game experiences I can say with confidence that The Locked Door has been the best one I have ever had the pleasure of participating in. A group of friend and I went along today to try the Raiders challenge, this challenge is based on finding a lost amulet in an Egyptian tomb. After a clear introduction from our fantastic host Holly we set upon solving the various riddles and managed to triumph at finding the hidden amulet. This scenario is set in a brilliantly constructed room with lots of puzzles and challenges to keep you all busy while hunting.

Would highly recommend The Locked Door and it's fantastic staff to anyone who is up for a challenge. I will certainly be back again to try their other challenge and any future rooms...

Never having been to an escape room before we didn't know what to expect, the staff were welcoming and explained broadly what would happen and that they were watching and would give clues if we were stuck (which we were in the beginning) we chose the Egyptian themed room it's quite dark and with a full room of people may be claustrophobic and as we only had two it's very involved and with just two you can get absorbed and lose track of time, you are given 60 minutes. You do get a feeling of achievement when the final box opens. We really enjoyed the experience and are planning to return to try...

My wife and I took our two boys 19 and 14 to The Locked Door for The Heist game. I'm the only one who had ever done an escape room before and I'd only been once so basically complete newbies.

Jesper our host was excellent we arrived early but he let us start straight away after a run through of how it all worked. The game was fine challenging but not too challenging for amateurs like us. Jesper posted hints as required when we did get stuck on a monitor on the wall to keep us right.
