Went for a dinner with my girlfriend here for the first time. Very first impression was good, nice interior and welcoming staff but not the best music choice for a place which is meant to represent Spanish culture and lifestyle. We ordered 7 tapas with drinks and dessert. Food was pretty avarage with one exception where we thought "yeah, this actually is good..." From all the food we ordered Calmares probably were the most disappointing dish as it really looked and tasted like they have been bought frozen from a supermarket. For a dessert I had the smallest piece of cheesecake ever and probably the biggest plate they could find to put it on, if anything that was sort of hilarious. Drinks were good apart from Sangria which was honesty again very avarage I would say. The table we were given was so sticky that plates were sticking to it so I had to point it out to the staff. One of the waiters came along to clean our table and I think he had the smallest possible wipe ever which obviously was pointless and table stayed as it was before he came. Usually I don't leave reviews because I am not fussy person but overall this wasn't really the best experience considering that bill was couple pounds shy of 100ÂŁ Considering all the good reviews I expected it to be...

I wanted to commend Olga for her exemplary service during my visit today. From the outset, her warm greeting and attentive presence made me feel genuinely welcomed. When one dish fell short of my expectations, Olga handled the situation with both grace and efficiencyâshe immediately offered thoughtful alternatives, ensured my replacement arrived without delay, and personally checked in to confirm my satisfaction.
Throughout the meal, Olga anticipated my needs without ever being intrusive: she suggested delightful suggestions , shared insightful but unobtrusive menu notes, and maintained a cheerful, professional demeanor. Her ability to combine polished sophistication with sincere warmth transformed an ordinary lunch into a truly memorable experience.
Olgaâs kindness, poise, and commitment to excellence reflect wonderfully on CafĂ© Andaluz. It is rare to encounter service that feels so thoughtfully tailored; I am grateful for her efforts and delighted to share my appreciation.

Read moreI recently dined at Cafe Andaluz in Aberdeen city and overall had a decent experience. The food was good, with a good selection of dishes to choose from. The wine selection was also great, which made for a pleasant dining experience. The decor was beautiful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
However, I was disappointed with the lack of Spanish ambiance. Given the name of the restaurant, I was expecting a more authentic Spanish experience, but instead it felt more like a generic European restaurant. It was also quite noticeable that there were too many Polish people as staff. Although I understand that this is a common occurrence in many bars and restaurants in the city, it just felt like the Spanish atmosphere was lacking with so many non-Spanish employees.
Overall, I would recommend Cafe Andaluz for the food and wine selection, but if you're looking for a truly authentic Spanish experience, this may not be the...
