Well located hotel, clean, cosy, good value for money and perfectly situated right in the middle of the football stadium, the Middlebrook shops, the Bolton Arena and Horwich Parkway Station. Good transport links to the hotel and plenty of parking. When I walked in I was greeted by the friendliest, most hospitable hotel staff I have ever met, who gave me a hassle free check in experience. The staff bend over backwards for guests, one of them offered me a free glass of water with ice when the vending machine wasn't taking my coins! The hotel was so clean that walking into my room felt like walking into a show home. Bathroom so clean it looked like it had never been used before. Don't judge the feel of the hotel by some of the older pictures online, it has since been refurbished and boasts the Next Evolution Style throughout. I was lucky to be "upgraded" to a family room from a standard double so lots more space to play with! Room featured flat screen TV, hairdryer, tea/coffee making equipment, purple velvet coat hangers, cosy purple light in bathroom, powerful shower, but most importantly, Premier Inn's luxury 2.0 mattress that sends you off to sleep in a sixpence! Room offered a great view of football stadium and noise wasn't as much of a problem as I thought it would be, more from the hallway than outside. Have any problems during your stay, Reception are happy to help round the clock. After waking up from the best sleep ever it's nice to treat yourself to an equally great breakfast! Cooked to perfection, all the standard Premier Inn cooked and continental options are available here, however do note that hot food is served rather than on a buffet during quiet times (continental is always buffet). Staff at breakfast as pleasant as those who checked me in. For evening eats, the Harvester is a stone's throw away (the hotel does not have its own evening restaurant) and plenty of other nice restaurants available on the retail park. Overall great value, great location and an overwhelmingly great experience. Couldn't recommend this hotel more and will be coming back. Only downside is having to pay £5 a day for fast WiFi.

Absolutely unacceptable experience in a so-called “Plus Room.” We checked in late in the evening and at first everything seemed normal. Later in the room we noticed that there were only towels for one person, even though the booking was for two. I tried calling reception using the number provided for assistance, but nobody answered. At that point we also discovered that the bed linen was dirty, including the duvet cover and pillowcase, which was absolutely disgusting. Since nobody picked up the phone, I had to go down to reception in person even though it was very late and I was exhausted. When I asked if the phone number was still valid, the Asian lady at the desk reacted with obvious annoyance and told me they had just been helping another guest, which made no sense given that her colleague nearby looked like she had nothing to do. Her attitude was extremely unfriendly and dismissive. I tried to explain the situation but she only handed me an extra set of towels and then deliberately ignored me by moving on to serve the guests waiting behind me, even though my issue was far from resolved. The bed sheets remained dirty but I decided against escalating further as I had no energy left to deal with such unprofessional and disrespectful staff. I had to sleep without pillows and instead used my own small blanket. It is shameful that a “Plus Room,” which is supposed to offer extra comfort, instead provided filthy bedding and no basic service.

My review is just about the breakfast, as my partner and I called in for breakfast after the car boot sale on Sunday; we did not stop over. The lady on the front desk was friendly when buying our breakfasts, and so was the lady who directed us to the food hall, and we were given the option to choose whatever seat we liked. We arrived around 8:15am, and it was very clean, and quite empty. We got here just in time as about 10 minutes later everyone came down to breakfast from their rooms. This is one of the smaller breakfast halls within the Premier inn branches, but it still had a fruit juice section, small cooling fridge with yogurt, fruit etc, and muffins pancakes and brown and white bread. The hot section was very clean, and the food is constantly being checked and filled with fresh food. Food was fab, as always and I love the quality of the sausages that are so nice. 10/10

We were using the hotel for business. The front desk welcomed us both with a smile and was informative. The room was nice big enough with a large double bed and a single bed but both were comfortable. The double was quite a high bed. Adequate plug sockets and a large mirror. The shower and sink area of the bathroom was clean however the smell in the toilet was not so good it did smell like a man's public toilet 🤢. The other thing in the room if you are someone who likes it completely dark when you are going to sleep. the radiator was flashing on and off lighting the room up never experienced this before I'm guessing it was as the temperature dropped and it automatically came back on. When I eventually did get to sleep it was a comfortable sleep in the single bed. Then breakfast in the morning we couldn't help but smile at our host he was very lively and a Ray of sunshine even when we were up early to go to the conference. He made my breakfast experience the best, keeping up informed about what hot food was coming out from the kitchen, he even put some paper bags on the side in case we wanted to take some fruit away with us for a later breakfast. Nothing was too much for him or any of the...
