Me and my partner visited cheltenham for a day on a whim, after wandering around for hours looking at everything else, we got recommended this pub/resturant by a lady in shop we were in. When we got there, they were busy outside but quiet inside so we sat inside after being welcomed by the gentleman at the door. We were quickly served drinks and menus given to us. The staff were very attentive to whether we had drinks or not, a little too attentive for me but they weren't pushy about it. My partner had fish and chips and extra rosemary fries, I had the wild mushroom and chicken pie, can't fault the food at all it was delicious. The decor is lovely too, such a great atmosphere in there, ladies toilets were clean and well stocked too. I think they may be dog friendly too as there was a labrador sleeping in the corner, but double check beforehand if you have a dog.

Good selection of beers and a nice variety of food available on the menu. Options for most dietary requirements were clearly visible but it did state on the menu to ask if you had questions. I was a little taken aback by the prices when I first look, as £8 for a toastie seemed a bit steep. However, it was BIG and came with a salad garnish, which was good. My non-meat burger was excellent and my wife enjoyed her salad. Staff were polite, friendly and efficient. Our meal was served quickly, the food was fresh and hot and the table was cleaned before and after we had eaten. The gents toilets were up a flight of narrow stairs. I didn't see a disabled toilet but I did not go looking for it. I would recommend it.

Ordered the flat iron steak for £17 - supposed to be served “pink” with “blistered tomatoes” and “seasoned fries” I ate one piece then realised I needed to photograph this sad mess. Disgraceful that they actually consider and sell this as a steak for that much money. I also don’t believe for a second that was a whole steak. They must pre cut and freeze pieces and fry them. There was no pink to be found, a sprinkle of pepper on the fries and those are some raw tomatoes and cress plonked on there too. Absolutely horrific. Vibes were off too - so dead in there and like two Halloween decorations behind the bar. Will never return. Save your money and avoid like the plague!

If I could rate it minus I would! Good evening sir/ms

Can I just say first of all what a beautiful drinking spot you have. I would like to draw your attention to the cocktail menu where it states it is 2 for 1 cocktails all day every day (small print had no mention of race days). So as it's Friday night we decide to get 2 for 1 cocktails, not a big ask ask it's advertised as 2 for 1. We ordered and was told that we would have to pay full price so as you can imagine we called for the manager. We was then told by said manager that it is managers discretion, nowhere does it say on your menu 'managers discretion'. So as your manager removed himself from the situation after 30 secs upon questioning, we were then approached by your security. They continued to try an intimidate myself by 'pushing' me. Asking me to not call him sir and to leave the premises. I do not agree that violence is the option Nor do I agree that asking us to leave was appropriate as we only queried the advertisements. This is totally unacceptable behaviour and I would not expect this to happen from any security team when a customer was querying the bill. We were there around no 17.30pm on Friday 11th November so please view the cctv in accordance with this. As explain before this is totallly unacceptable behaviour. I will not be Entering this premises again and I would highly not recommend anyone else to visit this bar. From a highly disappointed customer.

Besides the very average dessert my partner and I shared (stick toffee pudding, I’d advise against it), the GM at this establishment was incredibly rude. My partner had an issue with them on Thursday evening with the quality of service from one of their staff, but we thought we’d give it another chance on Saturday evening… what a mistake. The GM came to us about the review my partner had left them, initially we assumed he was coming to try and make amends so we were very appreciative, but we soon realised that his intentions were very different. He decided that he wanted to take certain actions out of context and use them as some kind of attack against my partner whilst not taking the situation as a whole into consideration. When we attempted to help him understand what actually happened that evening, he constantly shut us down with the same backwards arguments. Instead of agreeing to disagree on something so petty, he then decided to ‘bar’ us, but we had no intention of going back there again in any case (it’s a Greene King, there’s about 2000 of them within a 3 minute walking radius). Extremely disappointed with their actions and would certainly recommend others to go to any of the other pubs in Cheltenham over this one, most have far...

I recently visited Copa Cheltenham and was thoroughly impressed by the inviting atmosphere and exceptional service. This pub truly stands out as a gem in town. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a friendly staff and a cozy ambiance that makes you feel right at home.

The drink selection is thoughtfully curated, offering everything from classic cocktails to local brews that cater to a variety of tastes. Whether you’re in the mood for a relaxed evening with friends or a quiet drink on your own, Copa Cheltenham provides the perfect setting.

The decor strikes a wonderful balance between modern style and traditional charm, creating a unique and welcoming environment. Every detail, from the comfortable seating to the ambient lighting, contributes to an overall experience that is both enjoyable and memorable.

I highly recommend Copa Cheltenham for anyone looking for a nice pub experience. It’s a place where good times are guaranteed and where you can always expect a...
