My wife and I wanted to visit Cirencester for our wedding anniversary and after much research chose the Cotswold Hare. The booking process was simple and the communication excellent with lots of advice about dining out, parking and places to visit. Kathleen was an excellent host, both friendly and informative without being intrusive. |The Cotswold Hare is only 15 minutes from the town centre and the main attractions so we were able to park up and walk everywhere during our three day visit. Having its own car parking spaces is a real bonus as not many establishments are able to offer them!|The whole place is tastefully decorated. Our room was spotlessly clean, well equipped with an excellent shower and bed. My wife is like the princess in the story of "The Princess and the pea" and rarely finds a bed to her liking, but vows that the bed was the most comfortable ever! |The housekeeper also deserves a mention. She is a lovely person to talk to and really takes pride in her work.|The only possible source of disappointment, if you have a good appetite, is the breakfast. The quality, like everything else, is first class but the quantity is not...
Read moreWe have literally just returned from this little place of heaven. It certainly is a home from home and actually feels like we've been visiting family.|We briefly met Kathleen on Friday before she took off for a well-earned holiday. Extremely friendly lady who introduced herself and showed us to our room on the ground floor once we had parked up our car in the convenient parking spaces. The room was the smallest available but lacked in nothing. Toiletries, tea, coffee, hairdryer, fan, and usb ports in the plug sockets. Really handy.|One tip. Put the provided bath mat down in the shower. It's really slippy, and I took a tumble in there.|Kathleen left us in the very capable hands of Tanya, who couldn't have looked after us any better if she tried. She was very attentive and considerate. It was lovely to chat with her each morning and ask her recommendations of where to visit.|The place is spotlessly clean, and I wouldn't hesitate to return here. Keep up the good...
Read moreThis was our first 2 night break at The Cotswold Hare. Kathleen met us and showed us to our room, which, was located on the ground floor. The room was absolutely pristine, and spotlessly clean, as was the en suite. Kathleen showed us the breakfast room and a lounge for sitting in at the back of the property. The breakfast room was exactly like the rest of the property - immaculate in every detail. After sleeping in our very comfortable bed we enjoyed the continental breakfast along with fresh fruit. A nice touch were the two wrapped muffins Kathleen had placed on the table. These could be eaten with breakfast or taken to eat during the day. Our two day visit to The Cotswold Hare went by all to quickly but the very pleasant and clean surroundings of this B&B will make us book again. A special "thankyou" must go to Kathleen and her staff for giving us such a wonderful break. David and...
