Very good children's play area with a range of equipment (though a previous reviewer was correct, not so much for older kids). There are nice touches, like steps made out of cut logs and a slide set into a naturally occurring rock outcrop. I have also never been to a park with mini golf on offer. There's a nice little café and even brick built barbecues for use by the general public.

One of the best parks we have been to. Tables and benches for a picnic, plenty of space for the little ones and a playground to keep them busy. Also a small cafe to treat yourself with a coffee/tea or cold drinks along with the choice of ice-creams.

Lovely little park in the centre of town. No parking to speak of as the road outside is almost always fully used by the residents of the houses opposite (entirely understandable!). There's a little kiosk that's sometimes open too.

St Michael's ranks very highly in parks we have visited with our children and we often use it for large Church gatherings also. Great play equipment for older and younger kids. Lots of grass space for football, rounders and other ball games and areas to rent for mini golf, tennis and croquet. Along with the BBQ area which can also be rented, there is lots on offer here. Toilets and cafe onsite and the only slight limitation is finding parking if you are...
