Just had a great stay at Braevellie Apartment 2, highly impressed. Absolutely beautiful apartment with everything and more that you could want. It’s an old Victorian house so has lovely high ceilings and large sitting-room, with a lovely bay window dressed with Harris Tweed curtains. All the smaller windows have Harris Tweed Roman blinds, which look fab. There are two 3-seater settees in the sitting room, coffee tables, TV, beautiful fireplace. All very well appointed and very tasteful. |The kitchen is very modern and stylish and well equipped. Lovely Denby crockery. Plentiful supply of cleaning products. Comfy beds. Modern stylish bathrooms, very tasteful. Plenty of place for your coats and boots at the entrance as well as a cupboard upstairs. Outside there is access to a small garden, which also has a lockable shed should you have bikes with you. You also have your own parking place for your car. The apartment is very well situated for the city, it’s only 10 minutes walk to the main areas yet is in a very nice residential area which is very quiet. Inverness itself has plenty of choice of restaurants within walking distance. Every effort was made to make our stay Covid safe too, both at the apartment and in the local shops and restaurants. Everyone observing protocols. |The lady who owns the apartment was nothing but helpful, it’s easy to see how much care has gone into making this a special place to stay.|This apartment is a fantastic place to stay and we will definitely return as soon...
Read moreA home away from home Actually, one shouldn't write a review about this apartment so that not too many other people's attention is drawn to it.... But I can't help it - here I have to give a very big praise! I was a guest in Braevellie for the third time already and I have to say, the apartment is just perfect! Beautiful, large rooms in a house renovated with thought. Each apartment has its own separate entrance and its own garden with picnic table and rotary clothes dryer. The apartment is equipped with everything you could want: enough kitchen utensils for four people (even an electric coffee grinder!), a large dining table, a big sofa and comfortable beds with new, cosy pillows and blankets. Everything is very clean and the furnishings are very high quality. Claire, the lovely owner, is always available for questions and she can also give you great tips for excursions in and around Inverness, as well as restaurant recommendations. The house is located in a very quiet residential area, but is only a few steps away from the centre and all shopping, restaurants and sights. From the second floor apartment you can even see the Moray Firth in the distance. If you are looking for a perfect place to stay in Inverness - Braevellie is the place to go!!! Hopefully I can come back...
