Came to Blackpool this week to celebrate my partner's birthday as we'd never been before. We were hesitant as friends and family had told us the seaside town was overrated and really not a nice place to visit. We were so pleasantly surprised and this was largely down to Hillary and Kim's hospitality. This husband and wife team did everything they could to make our experience unforgettable. The breakfast was fantastic every morning (I highly recommend the pancakes...THEY'RE HOMEMADE!). The bedroom and the dining area were both super clean, fresh and really well decorated. There was filtered water in the rooms which if you wanted refills, all you had to do was ask. Their customer service was impeccable; so warm, welcoming and down to earth. Hillary is really bubbly and up for a chat. What's more, she's genuinely really interested in finding out about your day which is so refreshing. On our final day our train was not until the evening. We had planned the pleasure beach for this day but it was scheduled to rain. As she did not have any guests checking in that day she was more than happy to allow us to keep our room for the rest of the day free of charge to leave our bags and incase we wanted to shower and change before our train. The location itself was great; just off the seafront and situated between central and south pier- walking distance to every attraction including the pleasure beach and the tower. If and when we revisit Blackpool we will 1000% be staying here again!

The best B&B in Blackpool 🤩 me and my partner had such a lovely stay over the weekend and could not recommend By The Seaside enough! The room was so clean and comfy we could have spent the weekend in there and when getting ready there was a whole dressing table with a studio style white lamp which was PERFECT! As well as tea and coffee there was also a proper coffee machine which was a lovely edition. The host Denise made breakfast in the morning and we could not fault it- I had eggs benedict and it was unreal 🍳🍳 there was also plenty to choose from in the continental section. In the evening the bar was lovely and hosts were so welcoming and happy to chat with us ☺️ Overall, it was a lovely stay, full of little details that pulled it all together and we would happily visit again!

We would highly recommend by the seaside, it was 11 minutes walk from Blackpool South train station, the front of by the seaside was nicely decorated and welcoming with seats to sit outside and watch the world go by, we were welcomed throughout our stay by Denise and Steve who work so hard and nothing was too much trouble, Denise phoned a taxi firm for us when we went out for a meal one night, we could also leave our cases on the last day while we went for a last walk before home time, it was safe and secure using a fob to get into the front door it also had a ring doorbell as extra security, we paid for a bigger double room with which we were glad of the beds were comfortable, the facilities of a mini bar with reasonable priced drinks, free bottled water, chocolates and biscuits, there was a basket full of handy items such as comb, toothbrush and Toothpaste, cotton wool etc, we went for a drink in the bar area again reasonable priced drinks, breakfast plenty to choose from felt so spoilt for choice cereals, bread, crumpets, cheese, ham, and croissants with also an added option of full English, vegetarian breakfast or egg benedict, the young girl who served us was so lovely and quick too, I could also see there were choices for dietary requirements, we went off the reviews of TripAdvisor and were glad we stayed at by the seaside, keep up the good work you all do a brilliant job, and we will look forward to coming back again :), thank you for making our stay in Blackpool the...

Had a fantastic weekend stay here with my husband and some friends at the end of August for the light switch on. Great location, stones throw away from the promenade and beach. The guest house was beautifully decorated with the beach theme throughout. Our room was very modern, fresh and spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable and a nice wee touch with the bathroom accessories, coffee machine/tea facilities and biscuits. Little jars of complimentary sweets and a mini fridge filled with alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and chocolate also very reasonably priced. The room also had an Alexa speaker which was a welcome surprise, great music when getting ready to go out. The cooked breakfast was delicious and the selection of pastries, cereals, yogurts, hot and cold drinks was fab. The young breakfast waitress was very pleasant and the hostess Denise was warm, welcoming and chatty when we had drinks at the bar, which i might add were also very reasonably priced. All in all we had a great time and I have to add that this is the nicest guest house we have stayed in during our many trips to Blackpool. We would 100% recommend a stay here and we will definitely be returning....
