What an outstanding place! The hosts are kind and helpful with tips for sightseeing and local restaurants. The room and guest lounge was comfortable and very quiet. The bed and pillows were better than most high end hotels. The entire property was sparkling clean. And now for the food- I’m seriously going to dream of the bannock, fluffy scrambled eggs, and banana cakes for months. This house is just outside of town, easy walking to shops, the locks, and restaurants. But once you’re back inside your room, listening to birdsong in the morning or the owl hooting at night, you feel peace and quiet. Excellent bed and breakfast, highly recommended. We received a wonderful welcome from Jan and Michael. Jan was keen to show us around the house, while Michael very kindly took our luggage to our room. The house is exceptional, in a secluded position on a quiet road. It's spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Our bedroom (Room 2) was large with a very comfortable Super King bed, lovely shower, and excellent Wi-Fi signal. Breakfast was superb with homemade bread, cakes, a wide variety of choices, and beautifully presented, like a five-star restaurant.
