Me and my Indian* partner walked in here on a Sunday after visiting the Loch Ness. We sat down and started taking our coats off, within seconds the barman abruptly shouted over across the whole pub with a slight look of disgust on his face "Err can I help you's?" I confused and a bit angry shouted back "I am going to buy a drink in a minute, we are just taking our coats off" to which he just stared then carried on talking to other people.
As I went the bar for a drink I asked for a pint and then he looked at me and started going on about how this place was a "British Legion Pub" making sure to point it out. Some of the other customers looked unsettled as well due to how he was treating us.

Opted to explore the town and found this place that offers clean bathroom, hot drinks as well as a reasonably priced bar that's away from the maddening tourist horde.
