It could have been a good experience! Last week while on holiday, we visited Ripples Tearoom and sat outside in the designated seating area. We were served coffee and scones, but within minutes the heavens opened. We were the only ones sitting outside and so retreated to the cafe, cups and scones in hand but nowhere to lay them down or to sit because like minded folk also sheltering from the rain descended upon the cafe, bagging all available seats/tables prior to ordering.
