Ordered to collect, the staff member I spoke to on the phone was so lovely, friendly, polite and knew the menu well (I had to double check a few of the dishes that I was ordering were vegan). On collecting the two staff members were extremely welcoming and seemed well set up for having people collect food safely. We ordered the chicken and veg spring rolls, jasmine rice and green thai curry with chicken, which I'm told were without a doubt a 5 out of 5 stars. The clear soup with vermicelli noodles and mushroom skewers were delicious, and the fried tofu was out of this world! The red thai curry with vegetables was mouthwatering, with all the veg perfectly cooked. 100% recommend, we will definitely be booking a table on reopening, but in the mean time will not hesitate to order to collect again. Thank you Thai Sakon and all the lovely staff.

This is one of my favourite places to eat around the area I currently live. The food is always fresh and delicious while the service is outstanding. I'm going to leave our favourite dishes below. Starter: - no. 12 (Gung Chut Beng Tort - deep fried prawns) rated 10/10 by my wife. - no. 6 (Sea-Krong Moo - slow baked spare ribs in a sweet and sour sauce) rated 9/10 by my dad. I'm sure it was a 10/10 but some elders don't believe in perfection. 👀🤣 Mains: - no. 30 (Pad Gra-pao - spicy stir fry) 9.5/10 Other dishes we had in the past and loved: No. 10 (Geaw Tort) No. 15 main (Tom Yam) No. 26 (Geng Pbaa "Jungle Curry") No. 34 (Pad Pet Nor Mai) No. 44 (Geng Pet Ped Yang) No. 64 (Pad Pak Pasom) If you can't handle spicy food, ignore ny favourites and only take into account the food quality and the service.

Went for the early bird menu at £17.95 that comes with a starter and main, also includes boiled rice. Firstly they gave us some prawn crackers, which was nice. I ordered the tom yam guy and chicken pad grapao. Thought the Tom yam gai looks more like the tom kaa guy but it was still tasty. The mains on the other hand, it felt quite dry despite the good portion size. I could barely scoop any sauces out from the padgrapao, so it was quite difficult to eat. We have actually paid more (10% of the bill), but the staff didn’t look that happy either and just did the usual thanks (obviously not expecting them to be ecstatic but at least put on a smile?). It’s certainly different to what I’ve experienced before especially reading the recent review about service not include in the bill.

We have been coming to this restaurant for the last 20 years. Over the last few years the service has gone downhill. I don’t tend to write many reviews but I’ve been left so frustrated this evening as a loyal customer. This evening my friend and I were asked 5 times if we had finished our food. Honestly this is how it feels every time now, like they want to get rid of you as quickly as possible. It’s a shame that Huddersfield lacks plenty of good food. The food here is good but the service is appalling. Please leave your guests to enjoy their meal. The etiquette for clearing a persons table is when they put their knife and fork together! We arrived at the restaurant at around 8:45pm, the food came out around 9:15pm. Half an hour later we were asked 5 times if we’d finished. If you wanted us to only have the table for an hour, you should tell us that when we book! We can then make a decision if that suits us. Then from about 10pm all the staff are clearly desperate to leave and are all sat at the bar looking like they’ve been forced to wait until the final customers have finished! Perhaps if you visit during the 6pm to 9pm period it isn’t as bad but we tend to book an 8:30-9pm table. I’ve left the restaurant feeling like you ruined my experience....

Had a wonderful evening here on Friday. Excellent menu range and the quality of food was excellent, very helpful staff and clean toilets, For 11 of us for 2 courses the bill came to 240 including 3 bottles of wine and other drinks. I would recommend this place to others. The only negative was that we had booked the table for 7pm, and, even though we weren't having the early bird menu, they told us we only had the table until 9.15pm, which is quite a speedy turnaround for us all to enjoy a meal and drinks. That was the only negative that affected our enjoyment and in the end they did themselves out of us staying on for another round or two as we went elsewhere then for after dinner drinks. Their loss! It did stress me out a bit when the food wasn't going down as fast as the staff would have liked! They did bring us a surprise profiteroles pudding with good luck lettering on the plate for the member of staff who was leaving which was a...

Had our first meal here this evening . Exceptional service . The waiter knew each order by name, number and even which page. Outstanding product knowledge. As a lady allergic to coconut the staff went above and beyond to ensure my food did not have this in. Also I was allowed to customize my dish. Remove mushrooms, add cashew nuts and this was no bother to the staff. In fact they said that is what Thai food is about, customising to ones taste. The food was delicious. Tasty and full of flavour and great portion sizes and prices. We stayed past the closing time and did not realise and the staff out of politeness did not kick us out but proceeded to let us stay and enjoy our conversation. Eventually us leaving half hour after closing time (apologies again to the staff) Highly recommended. Best restaurant in Huddersfield. Thank you for a...
