Riverside Apartments Stamford — Hotel in South Kesteven

This accommodation is described as deluxe which couldn't be further from the truth, deluxe means an abundance of luxury, there is absolutely no luxury in this bedsit, yes that is the only word I can think of to describe it, a students bedsit, don't be fooled by the title or photos, there is no view of the river, instead you have a lovely view of a doctor's car park from the smallest of windows which is the only window you can see out of, the cooking utensils you would expect to see in a building sites kitchen and not something i would dare to cook from. The pillows were stained and the kettle had seen better days, probably in 1997, the owners were not interested and dismissed our complaint, we left after 2 hours losing £304, which to be honest it was worth losing the money than staying there a minute longer, There are other rooms available, we were in Willow Room 3 and I can only assume the reviews are referring to the other rooms, I understand that some people may be delighted with budget accommodation but we like a bit of luxury, some people enjoy Butlins but it's not...

We stayed in King Fisher apartment in April for three nights, then a week later in Lily Pad apartment for two nights, before finally moving to Meadow View for five nights, this was as we waited to move into our new house. Our booking was last minute, but from the moment we got in contact with Sarah about our stay and our needs, she was AMAZING … so very supportive, helpful and efficient. All three of our short stays in these accommodation apartments and the house were FANTASTIC! The accommodation is clean, comfortable, well equipped and just what we needed. We have just spent a lovely weekend in Stamford . We stayed in the ‘Willow’ apartment which is for an apartment for 4 , ( we were a party of 2) a master bedroom with double bed, bathroom with lovely shower, no bath and a sofa bed in the living area / kitchen area. The apartment is fitted out to a very high specification and is in a very central location for visiting Stamford. It is on a busy junction so if you do have children be very watchful when entering/exiting. We would definitely recommend and use again if we go to Stamford in the future as it really is a lovely historic town and...
