So to start off, the address that was sent to my husband with our door passcodes in the morning was the wrong address so we drive 20 minutes past the hotel to a warehouse looking building and have to drive 20 minutes back to it, we get there and he can’t get the door open and no one is answering his phone calls. We finally get in the room and our “lake front view” that we paid for is AWFUL and we have bugs hanging out right above our door. In the description while booking they make is sound like a beach from like the hotels down the way and that’s not the case at all, to even get to water you have to cross a very busy high way. Our first night there the fire alarms went off which can happen, but no one ever reached out to apologize for the inconvenience or anything. Now the “balcony” that you’re told about is a shared one, which is fine if it were clean. Literally bugs and spiders everywhere and all over the chairs so it’s not even enjoyable. Our room looked nice until you realize it was shotty work, if our child would have been older we would have left because of a cord being uncovered running along the wall and an outlet hanging out. The view we paid extra for was blocked by trees, part of the building and honestly ruined by all the trash just laying in front of the dumpster. Also was told we’d get a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine/champagne and when I reached out to our “conceirge” I was told that she has no clue what i’m talking about and I would have to ask someone else. We were there over the forth and because of how disgusting the balcony was we didn’t feel comfortable bringing our little one out there, and then because of the “view” we couldn’t even see the fireworks from the window.

I’ll start with the positives. Earplugs are available in the lobby, the air unit was quiet, the bedding and mattress were comfortable, and all of the soaps were paraben- and sulfate-free. Now for the negatives. The bathroom smelled—a mix of cleaner, urine, and musty water damage. When I used the shower, I discovered the shower pan felt spongy, creaked, and had a large dip in it, suggesting water damage. The toilet also had a seat but no lid, which felt unsanitary and unfinished. On top of that, the bathroom didn’t have a vanity; the sink was located outside in the main room. While it appeared designed to be wheelchair accessible, I’m not sure it would actually accommodate a wheelchair rolling underneath. For anyone else, it was simply an awkward setup. The room had no luggage rack and only one bedside table. We ended up pulling the ironing board out of the closet and using it as both a luggage stand and a nightstand for charging a phone. The door to the room did not have a deadbolt or a safety latch—just a knob lock, which neither my husband nor I could get to work. There was a hair dryer, but it was one of those small wall-mounted styles—except it wasn’t mounted to the wall. I didn’t use it since I brought my own. We stayed in room 307. The hotel does have elevators, but the outdoor stairwells were closed “for construction.” If there had been a fire, that would have been concerning—I didn’t check if they were actually usable, but telling guests they’re closed seems like a safety hazard. We loved Traverse City—it was fun and beautiful—but I wouldn’t stay here again. It was fine for two nights, but if there had been a staffed front desk, I would have complained and requested a different room.

Facility is nice but customer service is terrible Facility is decent. Very clean and modern building. Also has a small back porch with chairs and grill. Lock system is nice, they provide a numeric code you can enter to gain access to the building then another code for your room. You don’t have to carry a key or key card which is nice. Numeric key can be tricky to use especially for first timers and there are no instructions provided on how to use it for first time. Issues encountered: 1- customer service is very poor. There is no in-house representative or front desk agent. They also don't answer their phone when I want them. You will be lucky if they answered the phone. They might answer the phone when they want not when you want. You're left on your own basically in this empty building. 2- there is no laundry on site 3- there is no gym on site 4- there is no breakfast provided or available for purchase 5- there is no coffee ready in the morning. There is a coffee machine but who's got time to make coffee from scratch in the morning when I'm rushing to work?

Terrible service!! I went to this place with my family and the room wasn’t too clean, the bed is small and not comfortable. The pillows were sticking, also the comfort was duty. My impression and sensation was that they didn’t change the shits. They have microwave, coffee maker and frigobar but zero supplies, They didn't even provide plastic utensils, let alone a strainer for the coffee maker. There was only a single paper cup and nothing else. The toilet paper was of terrible quality. The air conditioning wasn't working well. Fortunately I bought my pillow because their pillow was stinking. We paid a tax for our dog and in the end they sent an email for my husband saying that our dog peed on a towel, and also included pictures that even confirmed was pee. We put pads and walked during the time, the only time our did peed was once and on her own pad. First they sent an email thanking us for our visit and despite our dissatisfaction we didn't want to leave a bad review, however then they arbitrarily charged us for a floor towel that was supposed to be on the bathroom floor and said it was dog pee, in a lying way. We can only think that they wanted to take advantage of the fact that we paid more than a thousand dollars for three nights in an unattractive accommodation. We will...
