My recent stay at your hotel during the Peach Jam was a mixed experience. While the hotel's location and the overall aesthetic were positive aspects, several concerning observations during my visit warrant attention.
The condition of the room particularly the walls and doors, could benefit from repairs. More importantly, I witnessed several instances of concerning employee behavior. One employee, who I believe was a supervisor named Heather, appeared agitated and exhibited behavior that raised concerns about potential substance use. Another housekeeper, possibly named Trina, was overheard requesting medication, and subsequently left her shortly afterwards. These observations, combined with other instances of seemingly erratic employee conduct (e.g., a front desk agent vaping openly in the lobby), led me to believe that there may be a larger issue related to employee well-being and potential substance abuse.
While I appreciated the helpfulness of some staff members – notably you do have a few last visit who went above and beyond, the overall impression left by the other employees was deeply unsettling. The pervasive sense of unease, compounded by the strong smell of drug use in the lobby bathroom on one occasion, significantly detracted from the stay.
Furthermore, the high staff turnover observed during my stay is another cause for concern. I understand that all individuals present a public persona, but the combination of observed behaviors suggests a potential need for management intervention and a review of employee well-being policies.

Read moreWould give 1000 stars if I could, I am not a guest at this hotel but I live in the local community nearby where many necessities are unavailable such as ice, etc. due to Hurricane Helene. With us about to lose almost everything in the freezer combined with the lack of power ice was a priority, so on Sunday I entered the doors and Leah politely told me the rooms were unavailable but to get as much ice as I needed for FREE, what a relief and a wonderful experience. We will come back and book a reservation or more just because of that top notch service. Fast forward to Wednesday Leah was again at the desk and the same as Sunday she told me to get as much ice as I needed again with out me being a guest, however I was stopped halfway by Deanna, a member of management who told me to stop and Leah didn’t have the authority to tell me that since the hotel was at capacity and she needed ice for her patrons there, which I understood but dampened my spirits a little since I had just been told something different. However, it still wasn’t bad enough to leave a negative review because I did receive the ice for free. In this time of crisis however, i do feel like that could’ve been handled with a little more finesse and care since all the staying patrons there will have, refrigeration, air conditioning and electricity while we still have to tough it out.
