I wouldn't send the worst person I know to this place. The front desk representative Linda was unbelievably rude and has absolutely zero customer service skills. She treated my mother horribly.
My Mom's vehicle broke down in Albany on her way to visit me in Seattle, at approximately 7pm. The drive would take 4.5hrs, so I called the reservation line to ensure that my Mom and 4 year old neice could pick up the key and wait safely for me to arrive. I booked a two night stay while she was waiting for her vehicle to be repaired.
I made sure the reservation representative was aware that I was still 3hrs out, and she said it wouldn't be a problem, as she would put the reservation under my Mother's name so she could have a key to the room.
When my Mom arrived at the Super 8, Linda acknowledged the reservation under my Mother's name, but she refused to give her a key since she did not have the card used for the reservation. My Mom called me crying and she asked Linda if she can do a conference call with the reservation line to ensure that it was okay to let her and my neice into the room. Linda refused, and said that she had done this in the past, but "without good results". My mom offered to give Linda her card in lieu of my card until I arrived with the actual card I used for the reservation.
My Mom was desperate for help, and stressed out. Instead of finding away to resolve the situation, Linda took every single possible step to make matters worse. She told my Mom that if my Mother pays for a two night stay, that she "couldn't cancel" my reservation, and I would still be charged. At this point my Mother is demanding a Manger, again Linda refused to put her touch with one and claimed to be "the only one working". She then tells her that she cannot wait for me in the lobby because it would take "too long" for me to arrive.
At this point my Mother and Linda are yelling at each other. Linda canceled the reservation she previously said she couldn't, and told my Mom that she and my 4yr old neice can "sit out on the curb". I overheard everything since we were on the phone.
I am beyond disgusted with the mistreatment of not only a paying customer, but also my mother. I also am making a compliant with the Better Business Bureau.
I am only giving one star because I could not leave a review without it, but I wouldn't give them any stars for the abusive behavior...

Upon check-in, about 3-3:30 p.m., front desk said not all the rooms had been cleaned yet, but they could check us into Room 126 now. We went to look at the room and it was tiny. The back half of the room is actually the supply room for housekeeping, accessed from the alcove next to the room. So our room was only half-size. There was a big chair to the right of the door, which we would've had to climb over to get into the bed, which was up against the wall of that storage room on the other side. Then, to the left of the storage room (basically, a big sheetrock box in our room), there was a narrow hall back to a bathroom sink and tiny bathroom. Seriously, no place for our two bags that we wouldn't have had to climb over to even go to the bathroom, unless we piled them into the chair. Went back to the front desk to ask if another room was available yet, because that one was so small. She said the other rooms were clean now, but she couldn't give us one because the maids were all done for the day now and couldn't re-clean our room. They were fully booked for the night and I guess a few guests hadn't checked in yet. I said, "No, we really need a different room. I guarantee you we haven't touched a thing yet, haven't even used the bathroom, just went down to look at the room and came right back to here to ask for a different one." She was clearly resistant and unhappy that we wanted a larger room, but finally let us check into a normal room. I think the small room was usually the last room they give people. We had paid a MUCH lower price because we booked over a year ago, and we suspect she was trying to foist the dinky room off on us because she was afraid of what somebody else would say if they were given that room. One other guest we spoke to said her husband paid "Four or five hundred dollars" for their room. If you ever stay in this hotel, specifically ask that you NOT be assigned Rooms 126 or 226 (same layout) because they are tiny, and not like the other Standard...

Im a single mom, I stayed here with my toddler and new born for about two weeks, I was in a bit of a bad situation, my ex was was being dangerous so I had to live there. DHS was helping pay f or the hotel, I wasn't involved with them for any flaw in my parenting.
The maid who claimed to not speak English when she came in my room but I heard her conversing with the manager in flawless English. I asked her to come clean my room four days in a row and she wouldn't. The manager chewed me out for not getting my room cleaned, but I had been asking for DAYS. And then I made the mistake of being a decent human being and let a homeless man charge his phone for twenty minutes, didnt let him in my room or anything. He just sat out side quietly. We made small talk, but i went inside and brought his phone out when itvhaf charged enough to turn on. As far as I know, in the time frame I saw him, he wasn't disruptive or loud or under the influence of anything as far as i could tell. What he did after our contact ended I havr no idea. but. the staff some how distorted that into I was partying and having intoxicated people in and out, and felt the need to tell the case worker who was paying for the hotel. I. LET. SOMEONE. CHARGE. THEIR. PHONE. FOR TWENTY. MINUTES. And then I went to bed. im a mom, i don't party. I don't drink. I have babis. I was alone the rest of my stay except for my step mom coming to take me to the grocery store. I got drug tested and put on supervision for ten days for this . Because some staff member was rude and over dramatic.
I was doing laundry, and you know, I'm by myslef and I only have two hands. So i bundled up my baby so she was comfy and set her on top of the dryer , with a cushy blanket rather than the floor or leaving her alone in my room . she fussed for the two minutes it took for me to switch my laundry . and the staff complaint about that...
