The hotel was/is under construction when we stayed there. Everything was dirty from the tub, the floors, the toilet, the linens to not having trim around the windows in our room. The toilet constantly ran filling water throughout the night. Our bed was even broken and not on the frame right as if someone put it back together hastily within the hour of us checking in. There was a commons area that we asked to use and we were told no because it was closed and unavailable. We finally begged them to use it and there was paint peeling off the walls, the door to the pool was off the track so it would lift half way off the frame. The free breakfast was horrible. They had hardly anything to offer. All of the juice was colored but had no flavor. They had hard boiled eggs peeled and put in a bowl for people to just grab sitting in the refrigerator. The front staff were not polite to us at all from check in until check out. There were signs everywhere that the hotel was under construction and to not go bare foot anywhere. Not only was this unsafe but I highly doubt this hotel was up to code in housing paying guests just to make a buck. Everything about my stay was unacceptable. Especially, for the amount I was charged to stay at a higher rated hotel in that area. I've asked to be fully refunded for my entire stay. Again my stay there was unacceptable. DON'T...
Read moreThe man who checked us in was great, he was professional, polite, and friendly. However, that is where the good things end with this stay.
The overnight girl was rude and unprofessional. She first had a friend visiting with her at the front desk and they were loudly discussing the dramas of their personal lives. My mother is in a wheelchair with a broken leg, and I asked where the elevator was.
Granted, I should have thought ahead to ask about this before my mother arrived, as they have accessible rooms on the first floor. What wasn't good is that when I asked the front desk girl where the elevator was she was very short with us and used a rude tone that implied "Are you and idiot or something?" She was not at all understanding and was very callous, told us we had no options, and then turned on her heel and disappeared to the back room.
We spent the next 30 minutes pulling my mom out of her wheelchair, and shimmying her up a flight of stairs.
On top of this, the room was not cleaned thoroughly (greasy fingerprints on the mirrors, hair in the shower and by the sink, etc).
Overall this left a bad taste in my mouth, but if you are looking for something cheap at the expense of cleanliness and customer service, this is the...
Read moreThis is the scummiest hotel that I have stayed in -- ever. I am SOOOO disappointed that Wyndham doesn't collect reviews about their franchises on their website. They really need to monitor their hotel operators better. This is the DIRTIEST hotel that I have stayed in in a long, long time. My room smelled dank and moldy when I stepped in. The carpet was sticky from all the dirt in it and the humidity that the air conditioner could not take out of the air. ||I walked barefoot to the ice machine down the hall and the hall carpets were FILTHY. Come on folks, it doesn't take much to shampoo carpets a couple times a year. My feet were FILTHY when I got back to my room. ||There is NO/NO elevator in this hotel. Even though I messaged the hotel to ask for a first floor room, they put me on the 2nd floor, and when I asked about the elevator, and the desk clerk, said, "No," so I asked for a first floor room because I have a sore knee. ||I didn't eat breakfast in the hotel so I can't write about that. However, I will be sure to NEVER stay in this hotel again. I am also going to write to Wyndham customer service and advice them about the terrible condition...
