So. I'll start by listing the positives to it. The customer service at the desk was great. I can't remember her name exactly but she was a older lady who was very nice and even was able to get me a military discount despite my room already having been pro-rated at a certain amount. That's where it stops. My family and I were put on the 3rd floor. The second we got off the elevator to the 3rd floor a huge smell of urine hit us all right in the face. No mistaking it for anything else. It was urine. We get to our room. First thing I noticed was the poor condition of the door. It looked as though it had been kicked in at some point in the past. We entered our room. The room itself smelled better than the hallway, but either the smell of the hallway had seeped into the room, or someone had tried to clean it but partially masked it as it was still noticeable. That's when I started checking everything else. The comforter looked clean at first glance, however at closer inspection there was black hairs scattered throughout and embedded into the comforter, which looked like dog hair of sorts. Now onto the floor. The carpet pattern almost tried to blend the stains, but there were stains aplenty, including a rather large red ink (at least I hope it was ink š³) stain near the dresser. Enter the bathroom. To start with, the double style door was not aligned properly, meaning you had to close it only one certain way or it wouldn't close at all. Once you got it closed, the locking mechanism had been either broken off or removed, which meant my 11 year old daughter could have easily walked in while I was not exactly decent for her to see, as last thing my daughter needs to see is her father like that. My wife takes a shower with my 2 year old son. There was hair in the bathtub that was not ours. I was beyond fed up now. The only reason we stayed was because we arrived at 1AM and was too tired after driving almost 15 hours that day. I understand this facility is pet friendly, which I live because I have some peace of mind if I travel with my dogs, but if you're going to be pet friendly then your standards need to be much higher. The living conditions I had on my two combat deployments to Afghanistan were miles ahead of this, and I lived in a wooden hut and shared showers and bathrooms with hundreds of other individuals on a daily basis. As it stands right now, I'm not sure what it will take to get me to stay at any of your locations again. Avoid this place...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe have always favored La Quinta when we travel. Their pet policy is phenomenal and welcoming, their rooms are outstanding and comforting, their customer service exemplary. Alas, our last stay was so far below sub-par that you could gather molten core samples. It was, by-far, the dirtiest La Quinta room we have ever visited. The stained carpet in the malodorous hallways should have been an indicator, but we decided to forgo the warning signs and ventured into our room. We originally reserved a room at this particular location, 10 miles off our route, because they had an ADA room available. We journeyed with my wife's grandmother so we required a mobility assist room since she struggles getting around. Due to some sort of clerical error, our room was rented out to another guest. Thankfully, the only star earned in this review was due to the wonderful front desk extraordinaire, Josephine, and the security guard that aided my wife with our luggage to the elevator. Josephine managed to get us the last room available. Unfortunately the room was not worth the hassle. The room was found on the fifth floor, perfect for my wife's grandmother to get to. Fortunately, one set of the two sets of elevators worked. The downside was that it was the further of the two from the room. A bit of a trek down to the other side of the hotel but we could all use a little more exercise in our lives. Upon entering, we could not miss how filthy the room was. It smelled musty and stuffy. Stains and grime were found on every surface. With a mere Clorox wipe, my wife was able to easily remove the coffee rings on the counter, the errant hairs throughout. The simple effort of the wipe removed the pinkish mold on and about the toilet. The black mold in the shower and pinkish mold on the shower curtain didn't give in as readily. The mattresses lacked the ubiquitous mattress cover, opting for a threadbare felt covering to separate the mattress from the sweat and oils of the user above. As for things found lacking, there was no microwave nor mini fridge. As previously mentioned, the room was specifically reserved for three adults. Despite the clearly marked reservation, there was only enough towels for two adults. I suppose one of us was to drip dry instead. Needless to say, despite the customer service which remained praiseworthy, we will not be staying here on the...

But they used some old nearly broken furniture. One lamp was so dirty it was greasy in one spot. (I take wipes no matter what hotel)||One bed looked like it had been slept in. The other had visible wine stains on the mattress. (Iām assuming they were wine stains).||All the hallways were littered with dirt and paper.||My room key would make the lock go green, but I had to get the maintenance guy to help me get in. (Just pull it up and push quickly). It takes me about 4 times before I can get in). I mentioned to the maintenance guy (who looks and sounds a little like Raymond Cruz from āthe closerā), that I was surprised how dirty the hallways were. He said he had just gotten back and thanked me profusely for bringing it up. Apparently the cleaning staff wasnāt doing their job. The maintenance guy promptly got a vacuum and cleaned the halls. He was the only staff person who seemed to care. This is right by the freeway, so there is too much traffic noiseā¦.they should have built it with better windows, but that said, something seems wrong here. Management doesnāt seem to care, cleaning staff is sloppy at best. Iām surprised it still has the La Quinta franchise name.
