Upon walking into the dimly lit room, a putrid smell of dirty mushrooms punched me in the nostrils. I immediately became nauseated. My eyes began to adjust to horrors that lied within the motel room. My first move was to go to the bathroom. There were hairs EVERYWHERE. Hairs on the toilet, hairs in the bathtub, hairs in the sink. Hell, there were even hairs that had been haphazardly painted over. While washing my hands, I looked up at the light fixtures that were covered in yellow and brown grime. My eyes trailed up the ceiling to discover that the entirety of the ceiling was splattered with this grime. My skin was crawling at this point. I sat down in the chair from 1955 and began to take deep breaths as I knew it was time to go ask for a refund. The final straw was when I turned on the lamp and my eyeballs laid upon the fly feces that covered the lamp shade. I called my father in law who used to be a police investigator and he said that probably indicates that this room once had a dead body in it that attracted flies. I sprinted out of the room post haste to go get a refund. PLEASE RUN AWAY FROM HERE.

I fooled by "Travelodge by Wyndham" Motel travel lodge (ex motel 76) "You get what you pay" as they say, but I didn't. You better off sleeping in dump in trash bean. Yes it is cheap but even a penny is too much. In last minute at night checked in for few hours sleep before continuing long trip. Furniture looked like picked up from trash beans, bathroom, (just see picture!), vent was dirty half hang from ceiling and not working,, the switch, knobs and outlets was so dirty wouldn't want to touch. I though never mind I am going just hit the bed and get some sleep but when I rolled the cover noticed stain that looked like dog urine on the blanket. On duty staff tried to do best even replaced with. New sheet and blanket but my night was gone. After all how can I blame them, they are "dog friendly" not "human friendly". Is there any human friendly hotel left?

We booked the spot because it seemed affordable and the pictures made it seem like a modest, but comfortable, stay. I don't know where they got the pictures we saw online but they didn't match the room at all. The first sign that things were a little off should have been the graffiti on all the lamp posts in the parking lot. I was apprehensive but we went ahead and paid for the room, when we got to the room it was way worse than I could have expected. There were no towels, a tiny bit of toilet paper was left on the roll with no new toilet paper. There was clearly water damage in the bathroom and the room smelled like a disgusting mix of cannabis/tobacco. We've staying in filthy places before but the deal breaker was the state of the bed, particularly the handprint still on the sheet. Along with the handprint that prompted a is that a blood stain or fresh makeup argument, there were holes and stains both old and new on the bedspread. There was no chance that we were going to stay there a second more than the 25 minutes we were actually in the room. The woman at the desk did offer to put us in another room, i guess that's the only good part, but no thank you. They didn't refund any of the money, I mean the odds where as close to zero as it gets, so you've...

By far the worst experience of my life in a motel! The ghastly disrespect and deplorable attitude I received from a woman who was barely literate left me crying in the crackhead infested lobby. All I did was try and stay over and because that was received as audacity by the counter jockey who's phone call was interrupted, (which is all I can presume) left her screaming at me that if I asked what wrong had I done she would keep my 100$ deposite when all I did was ask to stay over , innocently interrupting her phone call. I had to ask the poor policeman who was already in the lobby (on the other side) taking a statement for something else to please escort both of us to the room to make sure no damage had been done because I was baffled and did not want to be accused falsely of anything and wanted my deposit back. PLEASE PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE AND DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL!!! Despite being near bus routes and food and shopping it's completely unsafe. There were people shooting up smoking crack and meth (I assume) and also looking to rob people. I saw someone get mugged and the were no less than 50 homeless people camping outside. Just thinking about it, I want to cry again. PLEASE HEAR THIS...
